"The host of servers and frame were good and quiet, nothing to say. Very green place and shade of trees. The food, however... I took a menu with tapas and cheeseburger. When I asked, I knew that the vegetarian had a base that wasn't made at home, so I mistrusted myself because the commercial dried vegetable steaks have nothing to do with these homemade facts. The cheeseburger and the tomato seemed to me safe, but the stove was very dry and the ham on it very thick, as for the cheeseburger it was dry and disappointing. I ate a lot of hamburgers in my life and this one was one of the worst. EDIT: In addition, the restaurant manager has great emotional problems because of the response to this opinion and to all those of other negative opinions. No matter if your products are fresh and local if the result is more than mediocre. When you do not know how to make hamburgers, you are not, or you accept negative opinions. When it's the entrance and the dish that's worthless, it starts to work. The level customer relationship, there is also work. What image do you send to potential customers with such answers? Personally, I was shocked. And no, I don't take KFC with reference. Don't change anything, sir, you're perfect."

"We took a delicious meal tonight at Caunes-Minervois in La Grande Fontaine... on a place next to it, yes... of a great fountain. Under a few centenary platanes. There is a mix of people, locals and tourists, which creates a warm atmosphere. We first enjoyed a delicious dish of tuna and charcuterie. The tuna was briefly fried and deliciously tender. For the main dish we chose the breaded chicken net and a Duck Magret. Fries and lettuce were served with. No chichi, just good fresh products prepared with care and attention and served in a relaxed atmosphere in a village restaurant. All dishes were delicious and the portions are generous. If you are in the area, a car ride is highly recommended"

"Booked a table at lunchtime for an evening meal. So far, so good. We have got used to French service usually a bit slow but pretty accurate. What attracted us here was the fact that they offered curry and associated dishes. Initially the service was ok. But the curry, two mains, rice and a sag aloo was delivered in 10 minute stages. Food was ok but nothing like a curry in the UK. To be expectedI suppose. The timing of the meal was terrible. Bits arriving at different times. The waiters/waitresses just did what they wanted it seemed no cohesion or order of service. Eventually we asked for coffee and the bill. 45 minutes later we were informed that there was no coffee! We said OK, wher is l'addition? Nothing for another 15 minutes. In the end I had to go into the restaurant and demand the bill. It was sitting on the counter!! I have run a business albeit not a restauranr, and customer service is always paramount. I suggest the owner of this business puts his staff into some serious training schemes. It's just a complete shambles. By rhe way, several other tables were getting extremely agitated at the complete lack of attention. Never, never go to this place and expect excellent food or excellent service. Probably great as a daytime cafe (when they can't really mess up) but useless as a restaurant. Those people who say they had a great curry obviously aren't curry eaters. Really, really disappointing overall!!"

"Do make a reservation! This is a popular restaurant, and for good reason. The food, atmosphere and service were all very good. We had lunch here during the town's cherry festival (Fetes de les Cerises) , and were lucky to get a table. The food was amazing. We chose the cherry- themed menu, including a light crispy crepe filled with chèvre and a little bit of cherry served on top of a salad of spring greens, a few fresh cherries and a few slivered onions; then confit de canard with a light reduction of cherry preserves, sautéed vegetable, and the best fried potatoes I've ever eaten; then a little plate with three different cherry desserts (sorbet on a tiny tart, clafoutis, and fresh cherries briefly cooked in syrup... and a few fresh cherries as a garnish - a spectacular finish for a truly delicious meal. The bread was superb as was the local and very dry rose'. Good service, and we were never rushed - a wonderful traditional slow French meal- savor every bite!"
