"in the area for 10 years, we wanted to discover this hostel for a very long time. we had a rather positive echo overall, even though much less praiseworthy for some time. What disappointment after dinner we took a few days ago. a dinner that, in fact, left traces for a long time since we had great difficulty digesting it. We've all been sick. in good epicure family, we like to take our time in restaurants and do not like to be pressed. Going to the restaurant must remain a pleasure of life. However, the exaggerated long wait for a command and more for the order of our desserts, with the unpleasant feeling of having been forgotten in a corner of the terrace, we quite agaciously agave. About 40 minutes to order desserts. When it's 10:00, it can get tired. More than 2h30 for dinner while the restaurant is very little filled, it is according to us a lack of organisation and rigor in the service. Another black point, the deplorable welcome of the boss (we assume that it was the patroness since she was very often content with taking only the orders and avoiding to wear the dishes!)... it would be appreciable that this lady learns the rudiments of the reception, some formulas of politeness, yet essential to his profession. not a single formula of politeness has been released from his mouth, never a look at the tables, etc. this lady seems to take only the orders or bring drinks and desserts, but forgetting to say the least sentence (e.g. "thank you", "good appetite", etc)!! a contrario, her young waitress, a blonde and smiling girl, was very professional, and tried so well as badly to level the incompetence of her boss. The choice of dishes is thin. a very appreciable "homemade" presage. I think we had a "homemade" thing. the terrines of the trays or plates of charcuterie let him think. Some were delicious, others were good, and others were quite spicy...The hot dishes stayed on the stomach, as some terrines. As for desserts, they were really not terrible (and yet, they were expected to be loodtime !!!!!)... to summarize, the aging setting of this establishment (stairs of the very damaged or even dangerous terraces) and its location on the national (so it is noisy) should be compensated by an irreproachable service and refined cuisine. But it's far from being the sad case. We tried this establishment, and one thing is certain: we advise and will not return."

restaurant quite average but correct. the service is pretty good and the quality of the dishes ok for a brewery. it is definitely not a gourmet restaurant but it is correct and the quality/price ratio ok also.

nice beer with a special sirop that makes the beer verry special. don't know if it is something France or typical for this restaurant? the creme brulee was verry delicious. nice place for a drink with a nice vieuw. Ver carta

Perfect lunch: Mediterranean tapas and lamb for me, goat salad for my husband. Everything was very good, we enjoyed each other! only flattened a bit of waiting but reasonable as the terrace was full. redo without hesitation!

Had lunch here, it's nice and unpretentious. Good food but not fancy with good service and a good price. I hads a carpaccio of beef which was served with excellent jacket potatoe wedges (a first for me in France) and a salad.

Enjoy the stop on the via rhona for a meal under the plane trees. The map is simple, the service too. easy restoration especially with young children. convenient next to the medieval hotel.Pause as possible for a refreshment. Ver carta

Come here by chance, we have been incredibly surprised by the quality of the "homemade" meal from the entrance to the dessert.Even our 9 and 11 year old children have feasted! The kitchen is original, tasteful and finesse! This is the first time we had the impression of eating in a starred restaurant, without the note being astronomical, at least not more expensive than elsewhere. I highly recommend it to you because the managers are very pleasant and the frame is resting.
