this is right behind the chateau blois- right down in the background! really authentic french cafe experience. eating was amazing and fresh. waitstaff was very friendly. they don't speak English, but was not a problem for us. a real hidden gem!

Une excellente découverte, dans un cadre sympathique, un accueil chaleureux avec du personnel souriant et attentionné. La cuisine est simple et les produits frais.les salades ne sont pas préparées à l'avance, ce qui permet d'avoir une assiette de qualité.

Trouver où se restaurer un dimanche midi à BLois un week-end du 15 août ... pas facile. Par hasard arrivé dans ce petit bar/restaurant très sympa avec des plats du jours des produits d'arrivage du jour. De bonne qualité et sans prétentions, mais bien plus agréable que d'autres restaurants sur la grande place orientés touristes avec des cartes pléthoriques. A recommander. Ver carta

Que dire, génial tout simplement, des repas composé a partir de légumes bio maison, de l'amour dans leur conception, cela se ressent, un service sympa et souriant, c'est petit mais si confortable, bref, que ce soit le chef, le serveur, l'ambiance, les repas et surtout les prix, c'est une petite perle méconnue je pense sur Blois et pourtant, il a tout d'un grand, j'ai adoré et je le recommande donc vivement.

We went there for a late lunch around 2pm and were welcomed by the cook who was just about to close the kitchen. They told us that they would accommodate us and made us feel very welcome, not rushing us to order. The place is small, the menu is concise with a fair selection of salads, French style sandwiches and quiches, and a plat du jour. We sampled the regular menu and everything was very tasty. One could tell that ingredients are fresh and carefully selected. Most dishes such as quiches and desserts are home made. Their terrasse is charming, just a few steps away from a much busier square with much less charming restaurants.

surprisingly good lunch in this small bar. eat: 4, service: 4, atmosphere: 3 cost to make it worth review: 4 return worth: yes highlights: croque monsieur: creamig béchamel under a layer of roasted cheese on the sandwich. one of the best we had....4.5 star kabeljau kartoffel (mark:) small circular dish filled with these ingredients and dill. different and comforting on a cooler day. 3.5 star Strawberry Ostard tarts: fresh light strawberries on a considerable amount of custard on a solid crusty pasta with whistle cream on each side. 4.5 star quint, as the menu is written only on a chalkboard, they bring to the table to order. open on Sunday when most other places are closed. lowlights: small...
