Niché dans une petite rue a sens unique, le décors est sans fioriture. Tout était parfait !! Goût, présentation, quantités et accueil très sympathique. A recommander sans hésitation.

This place is a delight. We sat outside on a very warm summer evening. A bottle of white Saumur was delicious and set the tone. We chose a mixture of tapas and entrees to share and then a light and tangy Thai flavoured broth with cuttle fish. It all felt young and fresh and contemporary.

Our second visit to this little gem in beautiful Saumur and we were not disappointed. The menu was diverse and the food was well prepared, presented and just delicious. The lady and the young chap who served us were very efficient and friendly, they worked very hard on a very warm evening!

We really loved this place, so much we returned the following night. Husband kitchen) and wife front of house) though they could do with one extra on the floor! Under pressure during service! Great food very personal and inventive, blackboard menu changes nightly, it’s a bit off the beaten track but I highly recommend you book it when visiting Saumur.

L'accueil est fait par le patron très sympa. Il n'y a pas de carte, mais un tableau au mur.Tapas: eperlans frits, brochette de rognons de lapin, rillettes, etc...Entrées et plats....5 ou 6 desserts différents.C'est vraiment très très bon, et le tout dans une ambiance!Le patron fait vraiment tout ce qu'il faut pour satisfaire les clients !Très bon conseil de vin!Pensez à réserver !

Sur notre chemin entre la Bretagne et l'Auvergne, nous avons fait une halte dans ce restaurantTrès belle découverte de vins, plats sucrés et salés de belle facturePour moi qui suis un vrai amateur de fromages le restaurant propose un plateau digne de ce nom posé sur table et l'on pouvait se servir à discrétion De plus un service parfait du patronMême si nous avons eu un peu plus d'attente dû à une inversion dans les préparations en cuisine cela ne nous a pas gêné Très belle adresse à conseillerD'ailleurs si nous en avons la possibilité nous y reviendrons sans hésiter

Un restaurant éloigné des autres restaurants piège à touriste. Une belle découverte. Un accueil chaleureux, le chef est en salle proche de ses clients. La cuisine est généreuse et traditionnelle. On y trouve des plats peu communs tel que l'anguille, la joue de porc ou encore la souris d'agneau. C'est comme la bonne cuisine de notre grand-mère ! Quant aux vins, la carte est à faire rougir la concurrence. Suivez les conseils du chef sans vous poser de question ! Ça sent le passionné qui travaille avec des producteurs locaux et des produits de qualité. Au final je recommande vivement.

6 of us went recently to celebrate a family birthday. I had been with my husband 3 years ago and it stuck in my mind as a memorable meal so was keen to return for my birthday dinner. We started with a bottle of the house Cremant de Loire which was delicious, we had white and red at dinner with helpful recommendations from the friendly waitress - which were excellent and good value - not expensive. We had a bottle of the house dessert wine to finish and again fantastic wine. The food was all lovely. It is in a great location , we sat outside on a lovely summer evening. The service friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this restaurant

There was six of us for dinner - celebrating my wife's birthday. My wife and I had been here before and we were so impressed she wanted to come back here for her birthday dinner.We had lots of drinks - Cremant de Loire for an aperitif - excellent.... , a very good local white wine with starters a great local red for mains and a superb sweet with puddings. All the wines were excellent. We also had a couple of beers and ciders. All the drinks were very reasonably priced and excellent.The food was all very lovely and cooked perfectly, and all looked great and appetising.
