good food, well boiled in a great location with views of the harbour. the atmosphere is relaxed and most people speak well English. the menu is inconspicuous fish dominated, but there are also a few veggie dishes on the menu.

Excellent seafood and would highly recommend! We visited two nights running as wanted to sample the shrimps for starter the second night. Had skate for main the second night. Excellent food and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Good wholesome portions. Fish soup was gorgeous and the crevettes huge. For main course we recommend the monkfish and scallop gratin. Also the crevette with nut sauce. Stunning food. As well as the food being delicious here, the service was excellent even though the restaurant was busy. Currently, I’m learning French and the waiters were very helpful and patient with this and were more than happy to help me out with the language. I’m...really pleased with the attitude of the staff and the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

The plat du jour was amazingly good (ordered once I'd figured out what it was the waitress was happy to explain the Breton word for squid! , as were the other three mains of sole and steaks. As for dessert: Café Gourmand consisted of a...profiterole, a sort of panna cotta with a raspberry coulis, a tiny creme brulee and a large portion of Chantilly. Yum! Will be sure to visit again next time we're in the area.

we ate here twice at our recent visit to carnac and at a previous visit in 2018. at all 3 locations, the food was excellent and the staff went out to speak with us in English and explain the menu. we ate as a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children . if they like seafood, they will be in the sky, but they also do a fantastic filet steak! the half covered terrace with views of the marina is beautiful. highly recommended.

no bookings are made, but if they are ready to wait on the bank opposite, then they will be as soon as possible. the outside area is preferred, since inside is very hot and the street tables are loud. the service is excellent and. all menus are on board the walls. one or two of the employees speak English, but it is better if they can speak French. eating is well cooked and our favorites were the fillet and the crème brulee, which probably the best in france.

We arrived just before the rush and got a table for 2 on the terrace. It was doubly nice to be eating out once again but also to be sitting outside with a great view of the port and its myriad yachts.I had gratin du...lotte which was served with white rice and a beetroot purée and a little salad. The lotte was served in a little dish with a sauce americain and it was absolutely delicious. I mopped up the sauce with some nice bread. For lubrication we took a pichet of house rosé which was really pleasant. For dessert I took prunes in armagnac served with vanilla ice cream really tasty. We arrived without a reservation tempted by the amazing smells emanating from the kitchen and diners’ plates. The busy waiter managed to find us a table for two, and even allowed us to bring our (small) dog with us. We chose skate and Dover...sole from the blackboard of the day’s dishes, though there were several dishes that sounded equally amazing, including monkfish gratin; the moules frites also looked excellent. Our food arrived in good time, and we also enjoyed our desserts of chocolate fondant and crème brûlée.
