so impressed by this place in recent years were some paintings. can't find any better place to eat on the mountain. the quality of food is excellent and sooo consistent. they get it every time

If you go skiing on Mont Darbois than Mandarine is a top spot for lunch. Service is efficient, food very good, view beautiful and there is someone to take your skis. To compare with Rochebrune side, it is similar to Alpette

Called to book the day before. Good food, fantastic location, great service, and even a kids menu. Their lounge downstairs is a great place to visit as well. We chose to have coffee and dessert there. Beautiful bar area. Also... they check-in your skis. Great...welcome Ver carta

great location and view! we sat in the ground floor. a dame serves and absolutely no help in ordering. but eating came out really fast. but wow it was expensive. 80E for 3 softdrinks, 1 chips and 2 crepes! 24e for a water bottle? eating was in order, but not worth the money. a shame,

The service is so, so bad....45 minutes before our order was taken after several flag downs of the staff. The staff are oblivious. This place represents all that Megeve has become. There are far better, friendlier, welcoming, stylish, good service providers and unpretentious places to...eat that actually serve decent food (quickly) even in the height of the busy periods. When it’s as expensive as this it’s reasonable to expect vastly better service. The place was half empty, but we still had to get up and ask a waiter to take our order, and then another lengthy wait after we’d asked to pay before someone...could get their act together to take our money. It’s also one of those mountain restaurants that says it it can’t serve tap water because it’s not drinkable (not a problem at some others at similar altitude in this ski area) then charges euros for of mineral water

The nice gent who takes your skis said they were full, but then, after a quick chat, a table for 4 was secured. Result! Now, bearing in mind this was a lovely sunny day in Feb....they were indeed full. However, within a few minutes the...order was taken and excellent hearty food appeared. Two subsequent orders were quickly sorted, with good humour and accuracy on a clearly busy day. There is an abundance of good food and excellent service here so it is well worth the money. Not one for every day as one would become too hefty to ski away, but definitely one for a special day.

An afternoon at the oldest mountain restaurant in France... Ascending the Mont d’Arbois télécabine on a lovely early Spring afternoon in Megève, we sailed over a wonderfully positioned mountain restaurant and decided it might make for a good late lunch stop. We were not wrong…...On descending the slope to the imposing wooden building, we were greeted by a friendly ski valet who took our skis for us. There was also a fiery red Rebellion Le Mans champion racecar there for good measure! We moved around to the front of the building and were greeted by glorious sunshine and a stunning view of the glistening Alps to the left and a bustling terrace complete with plenty of people watching opportunit...
