"I found myself at lunch in this restaurant. I was wandering randomly to the city, looking for a typical and not touristic place and found it. helpful, friendly and very kind staff made me put the phone in charge since it was downloading and I was in trouble. The menu offers various options, from appetizers to toasts, salads and also vegetarian option. I took meat with potatoes and salad, really tasty cooked to perfection. The baguette that give as a contour is amazing. I went back to the next night, it was my first dinner alone and I preferred to come back here. Great decision because I felt comfortable, super helpful staff helped me in choosing the type of wine for a glass. I then ate the really tasty hamburger and apple pie that was crazy I would have eaten more. Perfect experience"

This was one of the best locations we ate at in Paris. The food is simply amazing and the service was great. The restaurant is also at a very nice location with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

At lunch time, the doors open when the chef is ready, and the largely French crowd of neighborhood residents slides past the bar to find its seats -- portly merchants reading their paper, napkins tucked in... Food is wonderful, simple but prepared and served with obvious pleasure... Simple interior, you feel French for a moment...

As we arrived late in the afternoon on a holiday, we had few options for a late lunch and the hotel recommended this place. It was a half hour to closing and they were not happy to see four American tourist s wander into their empty restaurant. The only English they were willing to say was "no this" as they pointed to many items, including all salads that were not available. I read and understand French, so was able to translate for my companions and place an order. Our waitress was impatient and not willing to help. The food, pork, duck confit , and fish were very good, but service was hurried and they let us know it was time to leave. Not a great expereince despite it's good reputatio.
