"Lovely little restaurant perfect for a cosy meal or catch up with friends. Went here for valentines, service was friendly but we felt it was rather slow for a place that wasnât overly packed. Have been informed that there is only one chef so this makes it more understandable. I have been here before at lunchtimes with friends and the overall atmosphere has been much better so maybe this was just a one off the food was not quite as nice as I expected but it has been better before so Iâm guessing itâs all personal taste! Overall would reccomend to people and hopefully LiAise will continue to prosper!"

Thursday night was steak night and we had the most fabulous rib eye steaks and a bottle of wine (a really good wine considering its one of the house wines), all for less than £40. Friendly informative service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm glad we found this place. nice, generous Sunday redness and good value. nice, relaxed staff. can not wait to taste their steaks. a few smaller niggers: one person got only two spucks and they forgot the milk with the tee, but still slightly five stars.

vegan dinner. what a brilliant evening. in the near future they will start a vegan menu and we were the testers! on the menu were carrot and coriander soup, kerala curry and courgette and avocado cake. we were treated and loved to a firm, interesting and friendly owner and employee. will definitely go to vegan taste pattern part 2.

I visited on Valentine's Day and found the service to be friendly, although a bit slow considering the restaurant was not packed. I was told that there is only one chef, which explains the wait. I have visited for lunch with friends before and the atmosphere was much better, so perhaps this was just a one-time issue. The food was not as good as I had hoped, but I have enjoyed it more in the past so it may just be personal preference. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and hope that LiAise continues to thrive.
