We have been eating here for a number of months both on weekdays and Sunday roast. The food is always of a good standard and the staff very friendly. I recommend it whole heartedly.

Mother had fish and chips fish excellent big white flaky cod. I had the Mediterranean quiche which was very tasty. Warm welcome lovely staff friendly atmosphere. Disabled parking good. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Staff could not be more professional and personable. We were served by Gerald who was superb, swift, engaging and polite. Food was absolutely excellent. We had the lasagne, 1/2 roast chicken, sirloin steak and gammon. All beautiful. Couldn’t believe how many chips we got. Extra of onion rings, again cooked beautifully. Thank you all for such a lovely meal!

Lovely cosy country pub. I have been going there for years. It has changed hands recently and what a difference. The food is fantastic fast efficient service to my table of 5. My three course meal was £42. Which included 2 gin and tonics. I was very impressed. We are planning a return meal with more people next time. I have never known the Barn Owl to be full at 7 pm on a Wednesday night. Parking very good . Would recommend booking your table. They are closed on Mondays. No on line reservations you need to phone them through.

Visited today for Sunday lunch. They offer 3 plate sizes for their carvery roast, including small an option for extra meat potatoes. A small portion costs £12 as opposed to the £15 regular plate. There was a choice of turkey, beef or lamb. There isn't a help yourself carvery vegetable bar here; instead everything is plated up in the kitchen served to you. The fresh vegetables roast potatoes were nicely cooked but my turkey unfortunately had some gristley bits on the slice edges. The staff were friendly the tables were clean. There is a small car park with room for about 25 cars. Ver carta
