"Having spent an exhilarating 2 hours on a RIB boat trip from Inverness, it was time for some sustenance! Queue remembering a nice Italian restaurant up the hill on the previous night's walk and a warm welcome for a late lunch/early supper. Clearly a popular choice, the garlic bread was in a different league to that we normally taste and the fungi starter we shared was gorgeous. I had the spaghetti which was just right for portion size and thoroughly enjoyable. Coupled with a couple of nice Montepulciano glasses and we walked back to the B&B with much to savour. thoroughly recommended!"

The lunch prices are reasonable at $12 for pasta and pizza. The restaurant is a bit cozy with limited space, but it gives off a nice Italian vibe.

When we were seated, we were told we would have to eat fast because they had a lot of reservations later. Our food was practically thrown at us, and the food was mediocre, at best. We didn't so much as get a breadstick before we were shoved out the door.

Tiny restaurant with incredible food. We didn’t have a reservation but went on a quieter night, Monday. We were seated right away. Pleasant atmosphere, loved eating by candle light. Food served hot and fresh. Exactly what we were wanting. Highly recommend.

Little Italy is a small yet cozy restaurant that we visited on December 23rd. After an 11-hour trip from the Isle of Skye, we were famished and chose to dine at Little Italy based on our tour guide's recommendation. The pizza and pasta we ordered were delicious, and the service provided by the friendly waitress was good. However, overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant did not feel very welcoming or friendly. Our experience at Little Italy was fantastic. The food was delicious, authentic, and absolutely delightful. We started with a prawn appetizer and enjoyed pasta dishes for our main course. The staff were wonderful and added to the enjoyment of our evening. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and a truly authentic feel. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in Inverness for work. It was a truly happy day.

Came across this place after shopping in Inverness and decided to try. It was a great choice. The stone baked pizza was just lovely crispy, perfectly cooked base, rich, deeply flavoured tomato sauce, white anchovies, lovely deli olives and capers strewn generously and the gentlest, silkiest mozzarella. Perfect. Pasta and meatballs was similarly well executed. Highly recommended. 2 × pizza Rocco Pasta with meatballs Bottle Pinot Grigio Bottle beer £79.75

What a superb find! Little Italy is a fantastic Italian restaurant; relaxed, accommodating, attentive, and most of all the purveyor of delicious food. As well as food though, I rate ambience as major factor in whether a restaurant works or not. Little Italy has the ambience, a little bit of the sunmy Mediterranean under the cooling skies of Inverness. As a visitor from South Wales, I'd happily live in Inverness with this restaurant around the corner. Superb! Thank you! Ver carta

A busy weekend in Inverness. Everywhere to eat was booked up! My husband popped into the restaurant this afternoon and they squeezed us in for an early evening meal. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner by all the staff and shown to our table. We were attended to quickly by staff and the service was exemplary. All of the food was delicious with generous portions. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Inverness. Thanks for a great experience

Overpriced compared to other restaurants with better food. We had cramped seating. I was in the way of the staircase to the upstairs kitchen which was unfortunately adjoining the mens toikets!!! I had chicken which was okay but a little dry despite the lovely sauce. House white was the highlight. Italian staff were brusque but the Scottish waitress was lovely (but we didn’t get her! the revolver above my head was a wired decorating touch! Be aware the car park opposite closes at 7pm.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
