"Have been here a few times now and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Every time we have been welcomed warmly, seated quickly (pre-booked) and been given the time to relax and make our choices. The wine selection is good and well suited to this place (one bottle certainly makes a reappearance on each visit). But the star of the show are the steaks! Always cooked to perfection and are clearly of high quality. It's a must try if you haven't been. We had Sunday roast from lunch meniu and ice-cream, it was fresh and tasty. A service was a little bit slow ,there were few waitresses, but had to wait a vile to be served. The atmosphere was cosy and nice. Overall, it's a really nice place for lunch/dinner I'm definitely coming back! We visited Lomito for my son's 14th birthday. He’s a bit of a stake connoisseur and the team were so friendly and accommodating, he was able to speak with the chef and manager. They treated him like a VIP. The cocktails were awesome. My son’s stake was beautifully cooked, my highlight was the corn ribs, the sauce that came with them was rich and delicious. The Lomito team surprised us, when they sang happy birthday to my son’s. "As one who eats out every day to avoid the expense of home cooking I consider myself an authority on well-cooked meals good service I am pleased to say that this small restaurant in Windsor Street, Uxbridge offers both that their standard has always been maintained. The staff are helpful polite the meals are plentiful well-cooked they also cater for special needs. The prices are in line with other places in around Uxbridge. They are also able to make room for people when all the tables are taken up in the times I have been there many people have been willing to return a little later which is always a good sign of happy customers. I hope they will extend the restaurant in time."

"what a disappointment, never again. well booked in advance for a Saturday evening meal for three and was very excited about it. was in zaza both in bushey and in pinner and had nothing but good experiences, so thought it would be nice. to have a change of landscape in ruislip. how wrong I was. it was shown our table that was right next to the door and in the middle of the entrance, right where someone went to the restaurant that waited for her table, would float and not a suitable room to enjoy a quiet family dinner. I understand that the last years were challenging for restaurants, but even if they want to add some extra seats in less than ideal places, they should at least warn their patrons before they book them. When I asked if we could be moved, I was asked what was wrong with the table and when I pointed out that the unpleasant edification was welcomed by apathie. I asked if we could be changed to one of the many other empty tables in the venue and said that they were all booked, but that we could wait to see if someone was gone I had booked our table week to be clearly offered the worst place in the house and then essentially treated like an inconvenient walkable to ask left an extremely acid taste. I found the personal I spoke to be cold and quite rude. feeling frustrated and unintentional, we decided to take our business elsewhere and received a warm greeting and a beautiful meal on the road on the mamma pink."

"Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Brunel University. Very convenient 20 minute walk and even shorter bus ride) to West Drayton train station for jaunts into Central London. Same bus option in opposite direction to get to Brunel 30 minute walk). Tesco and Aldi located close by should the in room yogurt and bread croissant not cut it good thing for the fridge in the room). Stayed in Grand Canal view room #2 which had 1 queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the sink, but lots in the shower. I mentioned this to the staff via email and in person no response via email and a stunned sorry can 't help you response from the in person complaint. The room could also do with more options for hanging clothes as there are only 2 fixed hangers in the room. The adjacent room #1) was not occupied the 1st 2 nights so it was very quiet, but the 3rd night next morning really) is when we noticed the extremely thin walls where normal conversation levels could be heard. We managed to enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant and it was very good generous house salad and very good fish and chips)."

"The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, but they need to improve their attention to detail for takeaway orders. The last three times we ordered takeout, items were missing from our order, causing us to have to call and wait for the rest of our food. This is unnecessary and frustrating. Additionally, the delivery drivers seem to ignore any additional delivery instructions we include. Overall, the delivery service does not match the quality of the food."
