A real German restaurant; seems dark from the outside but cozy inside. Very nice staff and good price. The food is very tastefull.

Had a confirmed reservation for the hotel and planned to eat here. Hotel turned us away sorry, we don't care about your confirmation-we don't have a room for you. So, we did not eat here

for the first time in bitburg we asked if it was dog-friendly and we were assured that it was so, we had a great service and the waitress was very attentive and nice, the carving dishes were perfect, worth a visit and we will definitely do it. . Ver carta

After several trips to Louis Mueller during the past two years, it is obviously a place that keeps me coming back. Of course, the house beer is Bitburger, which is pretty hard to beat. The menu is interesting with typical German fare, but very well...prepared. The service is very good, but it can be a little slow if you are there during dinner hours. Whenever I'm in Bitburg, this is one of my go to places.

We came here for an early dinner after a stop at nearby Spangdahlem Air Base. The location is great, centrally located on the main pedestrian street. The server was very friendly, smiley, and helpful. Food was great salads were fresh with excellent dressing, gulasch...soup was excellent, schnitzel was cooked perfectly. And the man at the bar takes great care in serving up the perfect glass of beer! A very pleasant German experience at the usual relaxed European pace. Ver carta

Stopped here on a trip last month (Jan and chose this hotel for its position in the town, and I am glad I did. Arrived mid-afternoon to a warm welcome from Melisa who took me up to show us our room, and then a...short walk to explain where the free car parking was. A plain but pleasant room on the second floor overlooking the pedestrian only street so no road noise. The only real sounds were the pleasant chimes of the glockenspiel clock just along the road. We ate in the hotel restaurant, dogs allowed in, and I can recommend the Oma Kathis schnitzel, a house speciality. Two courses to eat each, lots of drink and wine for two and change out of as well. I have been to Bitburg approximately times since and I always make it a point to dine at Restaurant Louis Mueller. It is located in the Pedestrian Zone, close to the old Bitburger Brewery. I usually eat in the bar area. My favorite...dish there is called Oma Kathe's Art and is a schnitzel style dish (maybe a bit thicker than a normal schnitzel) smothered with onions, mushrooms and bacon. That's right...BACON. It is outstanding and when accompanied by a house salad, fried potatoes and a large glass of Bitburger Pils, one easily finds nirvana. First I booked this hotel on Hotels .com and received the normal confirmation back from them.. Then I saw that if I booked directly with the hotel I could save Great. Tried to do that but received neither email or telephone confirmation from the...hotel. Finally called the hotel number provided but the individual who answered could not figure this out. But after a little but he stated that the hotel was booked out, explaining why I had not received any response. OK, went back to Hotels .com to make sure everything was still in place but low and behold they said there were several rooms still available.
