We visited here for after dinner drinks on a rainy cold evening, but were able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the City as there is a large covered and heated pavement area. The local wine was very good and served in very...generous glasses!

we had a nice meal in this restaurant at the weekend. our reservation was for, but due to a flight strike we were late and it was after all the guests arrived in ludwigs. the young lady who took care of our table was stationary (a series of guests did not understand German), attentive and friendly. we had a very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere with good quality eating and professional service. ludwig’s, many thanks! we see you on our next trip to karlsruhe. We had a lovely meal in this restaurant at the weekend. Our reservation was for 20.30, but due to an airline strike we were delayed and it was after 21.00 before all the guests arrived in Ludwig's. The young lady looking after our table was patient (a number of guests did not understand German), attentive and friendly. Ludwigs DIREKT is located in the centre of the city scene at Ludwigsplatz in Karlsruhe. The Ludwigs has tradition in Karlsruhe. They sit here in the middle of the hectic and the troop, so there is a lot to see. A small restaurant/bar/bistro. It is kept in classic older style. Outside is a large outdoor area that is equipped with many screens and a large awning. The kitchen is good and delicious. There are cocktails. The service is good. The staff is nice. Here at the Ludwigsplatz Karlsruhe sits nice and always happy.
