"We had just couple of hours in Ludwigsburg, First visiting the castle and its wonderful gardens. The dinner at "Biergarten" close to the rail station was just great. Summer evening outside at tables shaded by trees. Live music with very good guitarist player and signer. We took a typical local food : a schwabisches duo and flammenkuchen. Both proven the cook is the master of his job. Local beer recommended by friendly staff."

Nice place for typical German food. Good beer and decent prices. Staff was very friendly and fast. I can only recommend this place if you want good food in a beer garden.

The brewhouse right at the station is one of my favorite pubs/restaurants. You get even beer at fair prices, the bartender has an extraordinary coolness in itself, operation is always fleeting, cunning and friendly, the food tastes delicious and at football matches is transferred directly over the canvas. Despite the location directly at the station, you can only reach it via a staircase.
