If visiting Washington the best Chinese takeaway is most definitely May Hong. Our family have used this takeaway since we were children at school for our lunches, and continue to do so. Definitely 5*

really good Chinese eating to good trips. they have been here for many years and the call is well deserved. good selection of iron banquet options. not used to deliver, but think now what a bonus is. even if no more than 30 minutes had to wait to collect an order. it is very busy, but so they stay with it if they cannot get through immediately.

one of the best Chinese I ever had. this must be the long-established takeaway in washington tyne and the hands down the best. most menus over the years sampled and never had a bad dish. extremely busy, so would recommend pre-order if the telephone lines are jammed in the rule. they now also offer a delivery service at a weekend. if they have never tried these chinese, it must be one, they will not be disappointed. The restaurant serves delicious Chinese cuisine at affordable prices. They have been in business for many years and have built a well-deserved reputation. They offer a good variety of dishes and banquet options. While they did not used to offer delivery, it seems like they do now which is a bonus. Even if you have to pick up your order, you should not have to wait more than 30 minutes. Keep trying if you can't get through right away as they can get very busy.

I went to this restaurant tonight and was supposed to receive free chips with the black bean dish. I didn't realize when paying, but later noticed that I was charged for the chips. This has happened before when I paid the difference for salt and pepper chips, they charged me for a whole new order. I have been a loyal customer for months and never expected them to try to overcharge me. It's disappointing to realize that no matter how friendly they seem, all they care about is making money. I won't be returning.

Just bought a couple of meals from here tonight and so disappointed that I felt I had to leave a review because it has been the same on the last couple of occasions. The salt n pepper chilli chicken is not fresh, the batter is over cooked and is separated from the chicken, it’s also very brown in colour and greasy therefore I think it probably needs fresh oil the chicken is either reheated or old because it is brown in colour and very tough and not really edible because it’s so hard to chew. I use May Hong takeaway regularly but afraid it’s not a nice meal anymore which I’m sad to say as I’ve bought from here for years.
