"since 17 years we regularly visit the neptun on norderney and were generally very satisfied, earlier even enthusiastic. our visit this year ended disappointingly: first after the order ca. 80 minutes to serve the food at the table, which also led in other tables unmistakable. only after 75 minutes the waiter appeared and pointed out that “the food now comes in 5 minutes”. the most important ingredients of food (fish and meat) were well prepared. the separately served supplemental salads were unfortunately discontinued and remembered more of carbahnraststätten of the 90s. also the pommes had seen too much and too often fat. a pity! perhaps the owner/piano would be well advised to limit its restaurant capacity with existing personal tight passes in a feasible measure."

after my “surprise me” the cook disappeared in the kitchen! he came back with a well prepared laugh under a very tasty, aromatized pancoruste, chilisoße, as I knew him from mama and magnificent bratkartoffeln. thanks for that, tim!

were there tonight on 05.05.2022 at 18 o'clock. one table for two. had a bottle of island fabric and twice northerneyer fishing plate. Conclusion: eating was different from the new cook, but nevertheless good the service and the service have improved very strongly.

this type of business has no future! even if it is full on norderney, others try to provide the guests. the high point of cheerfulness is, however, if a table ordered for four persons is not free a quarter of an hour later and that will not be possible for for the foreseeable time. even if it was always good to eat, something like that is not at all!

the only good at neptun was the cheerful operation. it is quite gloomy inside, only on the window it is a little brighter. time you have to bring a lot, but it is not worth waiting. the sea salmon fillet was only pissed off by gigantic galleys, which can now be overlooked in a good kitchen. the sauce was cold and no longer tasted fresh, but complained not to me. I prefer to stay away from the restaurant in the future.

eating in neptun is always delicious. the service staff friendly and striving. dogs are welcome. Unfortunately, you can't preorder a table and often you've got bad luck and have to move on hungry.The first time we were 10 years ago in this local. Unfortunately, since then the device has not changed much. for me, a bright and friendly ambiente belongs to a successful restaurant visit, therefore unfortunately only an average rating.FAZIT: we come back, even if it is old baked.

we visited the restaurant for the first time in 2014 and were satisfied. we visited the restaurant again in October 2016 and ordered 2 main dishes and a children's dish. the inlay salad to the rumpsteak was provided with a marginal amount of dressing. the steak itself unworn and the bratkartoffeln not at all chess. the other dish was a salad plate with salmon. the salmon well roasted, but drank the salad plate in dressing. the half went back. Unfortunately there were no comments from the otherwise good service (was there too much for them? or did something not fit)? our current visit therefore escaped.
