Spent a few hours with friends at this pub. The landlord was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great time. The pub itself is in a lovely location and we would definitely recommend it.

What lovely pub owners!! We popped in just to have a drink and ended up booking dinner the following evening. The food, service, location and beer garden was all spot on! Les the owner is a right laugh and after dinner sat with him and his lovely wife Emma for a couple of drinks! We hope to come back for a slice of the best selling Malteser Cheesecake!

We had a wonderful birthday dinner with delicious food and perfectly crisp cider at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful with well-spaced tables. The coleslaw was classic and the fries were fantastic. The walk over from Woodmancote was lovely, but beware of the steep climb - you might want to limit yourself to two pints!

We had a fantastic meal here to celebrate our anniversary and highly recommend the ribeye steak and the wagyu burger. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and served with delicious chips. The blue cheese topping was also a standout, living up to the rave reviews.
