"Had a lunch in the restaurant, served by young guy (it said Mika on the receipt so not sure if that’s his name), but he was very pleasant and just what you would expect a waiter to be. So 5 stars to him and hopefully this will be recognised by management. Starters: scallops with black pudding on pea puree was delicious. The mushroom chestnut pate with port and Stilton toasts were also divine but sadly the pate to toast ratio was off. It would have been ideal with another 3 toasts as they are very small and the pate needs to be eaten on it as it’s extremely rich. Mains: prosciutto wrapped monkfish was very good however the mash it came with was majorly over salted and inedible. The chorizo bean cassoulet paired lovely with the monkfish, but only small two pieces, an extra piece would have made for a better meal. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter is not for the faint hearted! The seating is very comfortable but the tables are quite close to each other, so if you are seated beside someone who likes to talk loudly and incessantly even with a mouthful as we were, then you might not want to stay too long and to that end we left earlier than we had liked to enjoy a coffee elsewhere. All in all a nice meal, coming in at £83 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 dessert wines. It’s a nice atmosphere if you’re 50+ as looking around at all the tables we were by far the youngest in the room. We Would return in future (but not hurriedly) and try something different from the menu."

Bar and restaurant absolutely lovely very welcoming and spotlessly clean. The roast beef was amazing best Sunday dinner I have had in a long time . Would gladly drive the 3 hours from Glasgow again to have another one

OK, so they have a vegan menu and the atmosphere is good but my main the tacos bowl) was baked goujons of the sort you get in supermarkets with a basic chilli. The meat eaters in the group seemed to get a much better deal.

As someone who requires Gluten Free in a restaurant I appreciate Number 10 because they have a separate GF menu with a lot of choices and provide the best tasting GF Fish Chips I have ever tasted. GF food is cooked in a separate fryer.

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing meal on a very busy Monday night in the restaurant. Atmosphere was great. We had the catch of the day and a fillet steak. Both of which were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic. Happy to let us try wines and provide recommendations. Great sense of humour. Wish we got his name. Couldn’t fault the place one bit. Highly recommend.

Surprising amount of vegan and veggie options for a place that is quite grill/ seafood centric. Most of the options are Asian fusion dishes; a Thai- spiced lentil burger, vegan katsu curry, Thai crispy pancakes. A good place to book in if you’re looking for somewhere to please a wide variety of preferences (meat eaters/ seafood lovers/ vegans/ simple or mainstream dishes, etc. .

Frozen scampi and chips for £17.50. Rip-off. I would've been as well going to the supermarket and sticking it in the oven myself. They had obviously taken it off the baking sheet badly too, as the crusts were all over tge place. Have had lunch there before and ths wrap was quite good but i wouldnt bother going again. Staff were lovely and attentive. Hence the 2 stars (otherwise would put it down to one star)

The food at this restaurant was excellent as usual. However, the service from the front of house staff was disappointing from the beginning. We were not escorted to our table as promised and had to locate it ourselves based on the location of the menus. Despite asking for an additional Sunday roast menu for our party of 4, we were only given one. The service was slow and we noticed many staff members standing around the front service desk chatting instead of attending to customers. Overall, our Christmas Eve meal was a major disappointment due to the lack of efficient service.

Christmas company lunch, we all had pre-ordered from a set menu a few weeks prior to our booking. My starter of beetroot salad was poor, I didn't eat mine and had to ask for bread as I was hungry. Main and desert were average. I asked for butter for crackers and cheese and the waitress brought me one small individual piece.....must be rationed! Felt extremely sorry for staff who were rushed off their feet. The restaurant wants you in and out as quickly as possible so that the staff can get the next group of diners in. Not a pleasant atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't go back.

We arrived at 4:15 and our waitress took our drink order at 4:25. We placed our food order at 4:30, but we didn't see our waitress again until 5:30. We expressed our frustration about the long wait, but no explanation was given. The manager came over and I mentioned that no one had checked on us for more drinks, but again, no explanation was provided. Our food arrived an hour after ordering and while it was alright, it wasn't worth the wait. When we received the bill, there was still no explanation for the delay. When we didn't leave a tip, it was clear that our waitress wasn't happy. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

"This is a really great place. It isn't often that a restaurant can provide good food and service but Rustico pulls it off. The Food: The dishes are a bit pricey £20pp isn't uncommon) and the meatloaf is to die for. They don't serve a caccetori, which I found interesting. And they don't serve marinara with the calamari, which is always cooked to perfection not overdone and rubbery, which is easy to do). The wine selection is good too a little pricey for the quality, but they've chosen the wines and dishes) carefully and they are presented without being pretentious. To me this is the best part. Good food doesn't have to be snobby. It can be nice, yet casual. Tasty, and down to earth. The Service: No matter what you order, you're sure to get personalized service without a rush. I also like the environment, too, because it is cosy. I often bring dates here because it is easy to feel like it is just the two of you having a chat and being served by your very own staff. To me the tables feel as if they are in a small country home. It is that warm and cosy inside. Also, my conversation is never interrupted by wait staff at Rustico. This is a big deal to me as I'm often on dates at this place, trying to get to know a new friend. The service is really spectacular. Truly. Special notes: Make reservations on the weekends as it books up. Also, don't be afraid to show up last minute without reservations because though they do book up, there are often spots left open from no shows. But definitely make reservations if you can."
