"Food not great considering wait. Was told no beer on pumps, to then watch others being served it minutes later. Told we couldn't sit at our table a little early as too short staffed, then watched People at the bar served food. Wait for food once seated was way too long with our children getting fed up, then they tried to over charge us by over £20. Awful service, also asked for water for the table which was obviously forgotten. Breakfast the next day was awful too, really disappointed."

Having been here several times, was incredibly disappointed to be stuck in the darkest place in the place. Didn't even get the pot of tea. They had a wedding and couldn't cope. Why take our booking? .

Very easy to reserve on line however there was no record of my reservation when we got there. It was a very quiet time so no problem being seated. Food was delicious and very good value for money, will be visiting again. Ver carta

Mixed food quality. Fish and chips good, tagliatelle with added prawns dull- sauce completely bland and pasta over cooked. Tear and share needed a saw as it was severely over cooked. Service was with a smile but excruciatingly slow. The place was 3/4 empty. Could have been great but was poor.

The staff were lovely, however the service was very slow. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours for a three course meal, 2 of those were from a set childrens menu. We were waiting a long time just for desserts of which point my husband needed to leave for our youngest as she was so tired, and I then needed to leave before our desserts had arrived with my eldest. The staff did bring the desserts to our room but still it did not need to take so long.
