"Il locale è piccolo ma accogliente, la posizione a pochi passi dal Forte di Bard e la cucina improntata sui sapori valdostani veri ne hanno fatto una grande esperienza. Tanto gusto condito con disponibilità e il sorriso di chi serve il cliente con passione. Fonduta Valdostana dai gusti delicati e scaloppine alla Valdostana dai gusti decisi che riscaldano anima e cuore in una serata fredda. Particolare il tiramisù con pane nero dolce, che consiglio di provare. Il menù presenta pochi piatti ma caratteristici e di buona qualità. Consigliato per chi vuole farsi coccolare sotto il suggestivo Forte di Bard ed avere un assaggio autentico della Val d’Aosta."

"back from the mountain, we stop at verrès for a snack and so we try this restaurant, without being documented before the comments of the adventors. The first impression is not positive: the entrance room counts or tables, all empty, but the owner immediately reveals why: the room (instead, the rooms, are two dining room is placed in another room, where we find about twenty customers. Immediately a disappointment: to the proposal to exhibit the green passes, we are told that it is sufficient to confirm that it is in possession. That's not how you fight this fat beast of Covid. We sit at the table, a little too close to our customers next door, and we order: lard d'arnad with chestnuts, delicious, raw meat, good, homemade with fondue, very good and tagliatelle with lard and pecorino, good too. A portion of lost bread with raisins and cream and a ricotta cake, also good. Mineral water and half liter of vin des amis: coffee and bill, eur. The room is very, very rustic, with heavily plastered walls. However good food and kindness of the manager: a pity that the need for control of the green pass is not felt."

"Mi sono fermato qui l'otto settembre del 2021, ultimo giorno di vacanza, per pranzo un molto tardi... Ho consumato degli ottimi bocconcini di cervo in umido al vino rosso con polenta (taragna se non ricordo male... Mi ricordo che prima di scegliere la portata la cameriera mi avevo chiamato lo chef perchè non era in grado d rispondermi su una questione riguardo un taglio di carne presente in menù che non conoscevo: bestiale sta cosa. Mi sono trovato bene. Ricordo che il prezzo era leggermente alto, come caratteristica peculiare de la Vallee tra l'altro...."

"This was our first time in this restaurant so we were not sure how good the food will be but the reviews convinced us. No regrets. Food was very tasty and very nicely presented. We had insalada de fungi, calamari as a main dish and risotto alla fungi. There is so much flavor in the dishes and the portions are large. At the end we got a nice surprise, a tiramisu cake on the house to share. As it was Mother's Day weekend we all got a beautiful rose each nice touch. Very good service as well. One thing I would suggest they improve is booking."

"The culinary part of out trip to the Aosta Valley was eating typical Aosta Valley food Valdostan food and on the previous evening we had planned on having the local Fondue Fonduta Valdostana at one of two restaurants that I had found on Tripadvisor. The first was closed for renovation and the second closed for the owner 's vacation. This night was our last night and last chance to eat this. We went to the local information center at Chatillon and they gave us a list of the local restaurants. I asked if any of them offered the Fonduta Valdostana and they thought that this would only be offered in season and off season only if it was more than four diners. Still they offered to ask the Le Coeur du Pont whom they thought of as traditional and got the answer that they will do that for two; so we immediately asked the lady at the information desk to tell them to make a reservation for us with Fonduta Valdostana for two. Arriving there was not easy, Google maps and GPS navigation had it wrong and besides they do not mark the private parking area of the Le Coeur du Pont Albergo et Ristorante. Once inside we found a cosy place with a quiet ambiance. No recipes and a single waiter who could list the menu perfectly and explain every item just as well in Italian, French and English. From him we found out that this is the Hotel dining room and if we hadn 't made a reservation the restaurant would not have been open and it would only serve the hotel guests. Although the Fonduta Valdostana was not on the menu, they were expecting us and had two bowls prepared for us, private bowls with a warming candle below to keep the cheese melted. On the side we had pieces of bread and croutons to dip into it. It was not a large portion but definitely enough to make you feel full. My wife did not want anything else, I wanted another item to eat, the waiter recommended a mushroom crepe. Good choice. He also recommended wines, we went with the Torrette with the Fonduta Valdostana and after that he recommended the Torrette Superiore another good wine. We finished off with a single Tiramisu between the two of us. The food was very tasty and well worth the visit Tips: If you also want the Fonduta, order when you make the reservation. Always make a reservation If you want to get there, you had better know where their parking lot is its a big one you will probably be arriving from the Via Roma or SS26. Turn into Via Jean Brean at the first crossroad you will see a parking lot to the east that 's not it about 25 meters further you will see a small narrow bridge to the west with a sign pointing to the Albergo 7 Ristorante of Le Coeur du Pont . Enter the bridge and beyond is a gravel parking lot reserved for guest of the Hotel and restaurant. The building completely blocks cellular contact, so if you are waiting for an important call or have to make one it will not happen inside. They have WiFi and when I got a message to call someone about our last day, I was informed of this and shown to a beautiful back patio outside used in summer to serve food where I could make my call"
