"The waiter who greeted us was a little abrupt and not very helpful when we asked for some advice on which wine to choose and also barely said thank you when we added a 10% tip at the ens, but other staff members were friendly. Lovely surroundings seemingly an old wine cave we were sitting downstairs in cellar) HUGE portions and nicely cooked. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was that my starter cheese balls) really needed some sort of piquant sauce with it as there was an enormous quantity of lovely crisp and rich fried balls but it needed a fruity or slightly spicey sauce to cut through it. Still lovely though and the duck after was also wonderful. Such a generous portion of duck breast with lovely baby vegetables but for me, the same issue as not enough of the lovely sauce that was there. i needed a little jug on the side with more sauce) My husband had the smoked salmon which he said was outstanding and the fillet of beef which he said was one of best steaks he has ever eaten. Service was also very quick."

Monday evening and the restaurant was fully booked which speaks for itself. great atmoshere, excellent menues and an awesome selection of wines. i was happy and recommend strongly this fune dine rrstsurant in Tirano.

due to reviews on ta we decided to dine in this restaurant. the atmosphere is hot, there is no ventilation and no windows, the entire construction is like a cavity. menu- was hard to find something normal, all combinations are strange. nothing to do with the Italian kusine. how do they serve here, the northernmost point italiens, sepia? as well, it was very badly cooked the filet was very good and perfectly cooked, the supplement was bad and too little. the salate we ordered was also bad, too much crocheted. tiramisu was bad, the cookies in the inner were hard as the sole.

Great find! Weather that evening was awful with severe rain warning so not many people ventured out but this restaurant was packed with many Italians so not a tourist destination. Extensive wine list and good choice of food. Our party had venison chops, pork fillet and duck breasts all were excellent with the duck breasts slightly coming out n top as the best dish. Had dessert and coffees and whole meal with a bottle of wine was really good value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend and it deserves to be one of the best places to eat in Tirano!
