"The staff was not very service minded nor nice. The food was really nothing special – just ”food”. The daily menu was not translated and noone could translate it for us. We didn’t get our food at the same time. My soup portion was tiny...and tasted only salt. The coffee tasted really bad and was cold, and when I asked them to heat it for me, the waiter said he was going to use the microwave. By the toilet, there was a woman asking for tips which felt weird, even though she probably was a cleaning lady. If you really like beer, then maybe that’s the only reason you should come here, if at all."

It's a must visit, at least once, while wandering in the city centre. The restaurant is huge and the service super fast. The food in the average

nothing special, but good German food, crispy swanshaxe after our rich tour and right behind the old ton Hall building and near the viktualienmarkt. other places near that were recommended by our radius tour guides. .

Food average, luke warm. You sit down and within a couple of minutes of ordering your food has arrived, far to fast, you can spend a lot of money in half an hour. It's all about turn over and tourists. We only went because the...FAZ recommended this place, God only knows why, he must been paid well!

We were asked to leave as two people in our group of six were not drinking beer. They asked for alternative drinks, but the waiter told us he could only serve beer, then told us we couldn't stay unless everyone was drinking. I've never seen...a waiter so rude in anywhere else in the world. We were glad to leave.

Only had drinks here but we were greeted as we walked in by a friendly smiley bar person who showed us a nice table in the window. We were given good advice on a good wine and it was quickly brought to our table. We offered...to pay there and then but the man said dont worry about it until the end. Great dunkel and wine. Great atmosphere. Great service

We always visit this place, off the high street (also has a back entrance just off the Viktualienmarkt) which is very centrally located in the town centre. Always busy but quick and homely food, served with a smile. Good local bar at the front if...you dont want to eat, with high sit up settles and seats and great choice of Paulaner light and dark beers. A must if you want to try something local and good

An excellent choice for who is looking for local tastes and a good cup of beer. This restaurant inside is extremely characteristic, with wooden finishes as German tradition wants. From menu, Holzfäller Schnitzel requires particular attention. It's a pork cutlet with speck, onions, mushrooms and...roasted potatoes. High quality, good prices and nice staff make this a special place where to spend a few hours.

I just went for a meal. Terrible experience. I ordered a jager schnitzel . It was awful and greasy. I asked if I could change. The manager came and seemed to be very annoyed. He told me that this was how the meal was supposed...to be. The waiter took the dish away and asked me if I wanted anything else from the menu. I asked if they had something plain. He came back with the bill and left it on the table. I cannot believe how rude they were. I paid euros for eating nothing. Terrible place.

Nothing special but good German food crispy pork knuckle once again after our Reich walking tour and just behind the Old Ton Hall building and close to the Victuals Market. Other places nearby which had been recommended by our Radius Tour guides...were rammed full with lederhosen wearing locals for Sunday lunch, so unfortunately we missed out on the full-on Bavarian Sunday but we were more than happy with the Paulaner. It was certainly much quieter than the place opposite. Good food, friendly service and no oompah bands!
