This is a cozy pub that offers a Sunday carvery. I couldn't stay for long, as it felt too much like just sitting at the bar. We visited in the summer and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden, which was beautiful. The pub is also dog-friendly.

During a quiet weekday evening, I enjoyed a great selection of beers at the restaurant. They offer special dinner nights and gin promotions on Fridays. The food was very affordable, served in generous portions, and tasted delightful. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I’m definitely planning to return. Ver carta

One of our dogs insisted we stop in today for some coffee, and we're so glad she did! It’s a charming spot with a welcoming host and excellent coffee at a reasonable price. What a fantastic pub! Food was delicious! Greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we stepped inside, it was clean, a well set out floor plan. Outside was a lovely well maintained beer garden. We were served promptly with a smile, we didn’t wait long for our food to be served, the steak and ale pie was the best I’ve tasted in a while, perfect ratio of filling to pastry My sons burger looked amazing, and as a fussy eater, he demolished the lot, so that’s a compliment in itself! We’ll definitely be revisiting with family again

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The menu offers a fantastic variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the ample outdoor seating available both at the front and the back, with a lovely view of the church in the rear. The garden was a hit with the kids, and I appreciated that there were plenty of high chairs available as well. One downside is that there's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to find street parking. Additionally, there's a step at the entrance, which was a bit challenging for me since there were no handrails, but others seemed to manage just fine. Overall, the price per pers... Ver carta
