"We've been here with a group of friends on Valentine's day 2017 - by choosing the date for our monthly Stammtisch (where we always try out new restaurants) we unfortunately fully underestimated the influence of this special day.When we arrived at the restaurant it was very busy and filled to capacity - but "luckily" we have had pre-ordered a table for ten persons. But to our astonishment two of the ten reserved seats have already been occupied by an foreign couple that did not belong to our group - and therefore initially caused some inconveniences as there were not enough seats available for us. The Service:After finally being seated we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to take our orders. Then, another 20 minutes later, our starters were served before the drinks arrived at the table – sad to say but all in all not very well organised.The waiters serving us seemed to be unlearned and overchallenged with their work in the beginning and as a result quite inattentive. Later in the evening – with less business - this changed fortunately.The Atmosphere: When we’ve been at Persia Restaurant it was very crowded and loud, so that conversations were only possible with your seat neighbour next to you.In addition to that, we’ve missed some ‘cosy’, more separated sitting areas which generate kind of a feel-good or comfort zone. The Food:For us the food was a relatively new and really good taste adventure!We have had “Kuku Sabzi” (No. 9, kind of a very herbal pancake) as a starter, which my wife and me enjoyed very much whereas a friend of ours didn’t like it.Our main courses then were “Djudje Tehroni” (no. 69, grilled chicken) and “Djudje Soltani Tehroni” (no. 71, grilled chicken and minced meat). The meat of both dishes were very good marinated and offered with basmati rice, grilled vegetables and a relatively sweet pomegranate-sauce, which I could recommend.Whether the sauce would be worth the difference of about 4 Euros compared to the same dish without sauce, one needs to decide for him-/herself …The Prices: For the “exotic exclusivity” as well as the quality and quantity offered we consider the prices to be adequate but relatively pricy.My personal Conclusion:Despite the fact that I’ve somehow missed the “customer satisfaction first - profit maximisation second” spirit on this evening we as a group had a nice evening with good food and talks.Service in the beginning unfortunately was poor but improved during the evening – in this regard: thanks for the complimentary signature shot on the house!Presumably we will give them a second try - but next time definitely not on a holiday or Valentine’s day ..."

Appetizer and main. Both of which are really unappetizing. The appetizer was close to being inedible and the entree was just blah.

Thank for always being so kind and amazing! Sometimes overwhelmed by the number of people but the friendliness and food compensates for that!

The food was excellent. The portions are large. They have an extensive menu. The outdoor garden was nice and was able to accommodate a large group.

My persian friend took me to this restaurant and I mustsay it was really good. We had some chicken kebabs (or so) and chicken in some greasy tasty sauce.

Ate here with 3 people and we’ll all thought the food was great. Meat kebabs of all variants, well cooked and flavoursome. Good service and reasonably priced.

I don't know how Persian food is supposed to taste - we went twice and both times I didn't enjoy the food. The chicken is very tender but everything tastes the same with a weird sauce - but again maybe just my taste is different.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Persia. The food was fantastic. We spent a wonderful evening as a family sitting in the beer garden and enjoying the great food, sharing a large platter as a starter, followed by generous portions of mains. It was all very tasty.

I've eaten here twice since it opened (Sept. 2016) and the food was great on both occasions. The menu has a good choice and the portions are ample. There is a beer garden outside which is remarkably quiet considering the busy road next to it. The staff are pleasant and the only slight issue is the relatively-limited parking. If you like this type of cuisine, you should definitely visit.
