"A lovely spot with friendly staff and a nice vibe, however the prices are definitely verging on unreasonable. The food was very tasty (bbq honey ginger bread was fab) but I have had better elsewhere for a lot less money. As a local there in half term, I couldn’t help but feel I’d fallen into a bit of a tourist price trap. I get the whole ‘small plate’ tapas vibe, but that only really works when the plates aren’t a minimum of £10 each… and each plate only has enough for one person. They recommended we get 3 plates each, but that would be £26-£30 pp without drinks or desserts. In summary, it was very nice but the prices need to be rethought I think, as I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone for that reason alone."

"Fantastic food, and ridiculously good cakes! We've actually driven 120miles just to go for a morning at the beach and lunch here. It's really fairly priced too, a meal for 4 adults and 2 kids, with drinks set us back just under £60. All the food is so tasty and locally sourced where possible. In our family it has become the bench mark for other restaurants to be compared to, and they're never quite as good as the Trevathan taste and quality, which is a real shame as it means we have no places to eat in our own area that we want to go and eat at. Very friendly towards children unlike many restaurants, loads of outdoor equipment for various ages of children, electric tractors on a circuit, some electric diggers and a massive snake slide. There's a huge assortment of high quality gifts too in the farmshop so grabbing something for friends, family or the neighbour whose fed your cat while your away on holiday is easily taken care of. It doesn't really matter what your doing in Cornwall or where your going, anyone with a stomach should make a point of stopping by here for lunch, they also do breakfast, which is outstanding, top notch sausages and fresh eggs from the farm."

"where do you visit our trip to cornwall? portaac is a beautiful and old fishing port that is essentially cornwall, a short drive from our padstow basic and for a good measure, it is where nathan outlaw has chosen to open its latest restaurant, outlaw’s fish kitchen; it seems only the ticket. we have not checked exactly on the map where outlaw’s fish kitchen is in the city, but we are not worried, because port isaac is not so big, the whole place fits neatly on a postcard, and as it turns out, nathan has bagged the best location in the city, they cannot miss it. port isaac built on a cliff, gravitation leads naturally weary beine down to the harbour entrance where a car of lobster pots sit outside the rnli rettungsbootstation; next door is the fish kitchen. put them at one of the front tables and the view through the window is of the boats in the harbour, quite possibly the same boats that brought in the catch that they just eat. it's perfect. while nathans flagship rock rest"

"This is in essence a good characterful restaurant in an old building with good food and drink. On the evening we were there it was not full as it was after New Year, but the service was a little strange and disjointed. The person who served us was just helping out so he tended to have to refer queries, but he was cheerful and pleasant in himself. The Manager seemed to range from attentive to disinterested to the point that he didn't even thank us for pointing out to him that he had missed half our drinks off the bill. The menu though, which was very fish-based, was fine and we enjoyed the food. Worth a visit."

"I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years, but it was always fully booked. This time, we planned ahead and made two reservations. It was definitely worth the wait. The pizzas were fantastic, and we even received complimentary olives, breadsticks, and a Nutella calzone ice cream for dessert. The decor was eclectic, featuring album covers from my era, film music, and Doc Martin memorabilia. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. It was a refreshing change to enjoy a pizza without having lots of delivery drivers waiting to pick up orders, although I understand that Port Isaac's hilly terrain and limited phone signals may contribute to that. We will definitely make reservations in advance again when we return for the 2024 Endellion Festivals."
