"We came here with invitation in-hand for their pre-opening dining event. My friend and I were impressed from the start as Molino is located in a beautifully restored, historic building that was formerly a post office. There is a huge patio deck at the front of the building with tables and umbrellas and great views at the corner intersection. This is the first Molino of their franchises that has a separate bar and it’s very nice as you can pull a seat up to the bar and watch Claudio mix up one of his special potions with perfect decorations or have a seat at one of the tables or high chairs and take in the relaxed atmosphere. The seating space of the restaurant is rather unique. As you enter, there is the dough in display cases that must set for 48hrs. Then there are about three sets of dining sections on the right side, then a round table. At the back of the room are tables lined along the wall, on the opposite side of the room are semi-circular padded booths. The center of the room is the wood-fired oven and open view pizza prep area and a few front row dining seats at this counter to what all the happenings. Now on to the food. We ordered appetizers from fresh bread and oil, focaccia rosemary, rohschinken, and burrata on a bed of arugula salad. This schinken was hands down the best I have ever tasted! Round two we each ordered the entrecote, mine over a bed of risotto, and my dining friend over their specialty spaghetti. Wow again! The meat dishes simply melted in your mouth and were sooo delicious. We each ordered desserts that were a really special treat to cap off the evening. My dining friend stated, the meal we had on this visit would compete with any of the top best restaurants in Zurich. Though the place was packed, with families as well, there was no overwhelming noise level anywhere in the restaurant! Molino is open 365 days a year, serving lunch and dinner. The staff was exceptional! Our waitress, Lucia, was so friendly and took care of all of our needs. The host, Luca, was great and treated us very nice during our visit. There were so many others to thank for our great visit including Frau Fergg, Frau Oberholzer, the gentleman in the red coat that allowed me to take pictures, and others, in addition to the owner himself, whom I personally thanked for the great evening and environment. My compliments to the entire team for a job well done! Much success."

Das Essen ist eigentlich gut, aber der Service ist der wohl schlechteste, den ich je erlebt habe. Wir haben über 30 Minuten auf 2 Kaffees gewartet. Und das war auch nicht das erste Mal, das wir uns über den Service geärgert haben. Schade!

Stately building, very spacious and with very nice decoration. Affordable and nice kids' menu. Very nice nice and flexible service. Delicious food. A bit expensive but totally worth it. We were twice in the last month and we will go again :

Amazing food, especially the delicious pizza. Very good service and a cosy atmosphere with the pizza chefs preparing the pizzas in the middle of the restaurant. Also, the owner and his staff are all from Italy. The homemade dessert is worth trying. The price is really fair. Will definitely be back soon. Ver carta

Erst seit wenigen Tagen geöffnet wird das Restaurant vom Publikum sehr gut angenommen wir haben spontan nur noch einen Platz in der Bar ergattert. Service freundlich, trotz vollem Haus und die Pizza ausgezeichnet. Definitiv eine der besten ausserhalb Italiens! Einrichtung sehr aufwendig und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Highlight aus meiner Sicht die einsehbare Teigreifung, welche von der äusserst freundlichen Chefin erklärt wurde. Top!

The two of us had dinner there for the first and last time. Location is nice and fresh! The food was just average, well the salad was nice and the paste wasn‘t. One waiter was super rude, arrogant and couldn‘t care less! When I told him all this, he said it was the fault of the Swiss people as the are all farmers and have no idea of food......WTF!!?!! Location: 8/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Drinks: 5/10 Food: 4/10 Bathrooms: 9/10 Service: 1/10 I hope that you can fix this and wish you all the best!

Der Umbau ist sehr schön geworden. In den alten Gemäuern der Post wurde ein tolles, modernes Restaurant mit viel Charme gebaut, Bar, Restaurant und schöne Terrasse.Die Stühle und Tische sind etwas erhöht. Leider kann man die Füsse nirgends abstellen, diese baumeln in der Luft. Ein Ring am Tisch würde helfen.Wir waren zum Lunch. Salat und danach Scaloppine al Limone. Das Essen war sehr gut. Vom Ofengemüse hätten wir auch noch mehr bekommen können.Einzig auf die Rechnung mussten wir lange warten... plötzlich war niemand mehr da Ver carta

Haben nach der Eröffnimg gefunden, wir probieren es Mal aus und waren leider nur mässig begeistert. Wurden am Eingang stehen gelassen, warteten dann 10 Minuten auf die Karte und nochmals 10 bis wir bestellen konnten. Beim Salat ging das Dressing aus, dass wir wollten, was uns beim servieren erst mitgeteilt wurde. Der gemischte Salat war ertränkt in Sauce und bestand aus grünem Salat, 2 Stücken Karotten und 2 Tonaten. Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Pizza war super, auch wenn diese erst nach weiteren 45 Minuten kam. Alles in allem Okay. Die Wartezeit und der eher schlechte Service stehen mit den stolzen Preisen aber eher gerade im Einklang.

Schickes Restaurant an toller Lage.Leider war der Service schlecht und die Wartezeit enorm lang.Ich hatte einen gemischten Salat mit französischer Sauce bestellt, erhalten habe einen gemischten Salat mit hauseigener Sauce mit einem Kommentar, dass die französische Sauce nicht verfügbar sei. Dies hätte man bei der Bestellung oder zumindest vor dem Hinstellen erwähnen sollen. Auf den Kommentar, dass die hauseigene Salatsauce eher wässrig sei und der Salat in der Sauce ertränkt wurde, bekam ich als Gast eine schnäppische Antwort. Ein gemischter Salat ist übrigen Kopfsalat mit etwas Garnitur. Die Pizza war einwandfrei. Top!Trotzdem war ich 2 Stunden im Restaurant und dies nur für einen gemischte...
