Had a value lunch time meal, very pleasant welcome from all the staff, we intend making this a regular venue, top marks.

Jo and the team catered for our large group of 17 at short notice. The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

Visited Platform One today for lunch. We ordered homemade cheese pie and scampi and after a very long wait our meals eventually arrived. The cheese pie pastry was disgusting, nothing like the shortcrust pastry I expected. Half of it was like concrete. I sent it back; the replacement was not much better. I ate only the cheese. On paying the bill we were asked was ‘everything ok’, I replied ‘no’. The bill was for full payment and I did mention ‘were they not going to knock a bit off?’ … no such luck.
