I have ate the best schnitzel that I have ever eaten in my life.I have a Keto diet and she went out of her way and made a drink Keto drink for me. The view is very nice, great staff. I warmly recommend this restaurant !

Smallish place by the riverside with nice atmosphere. I had a fish platter; two out of three pieces of various fish were fine, third was very well done. Service was fine and very friendly. Made up a lot of it. Rest of the meals were ok.

We choosed this restaurant because of locations. It was close to our hotel and we have had a late dinner with our friends. We have ordered what waiteres was sugessted - seasonal special made of mushrooms and eggs and ribs in sause with chips. Food was very, very ordinary. Wine was nice. Ver carta

Based on trip advisor ratings we decided to have dinner at Potters Restaurant and weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. We couldn't fault either the food or the service. The restaurant itself is quite small and there was a large group dining which made things quite noisy. However it is a cosy restaurant and was still a pleasant venue to dine. Definitely recommended.

Nice location by the river.Me and my partner both had a sirloin steak and it was absolutely tasty. I ordered a mushroom sauce on side which made my steak even better. Steak was served with potato and salad. I choose the traditional german jacked potato served with sour cream and chives. Very tasty as well. Staff was very polite and friendly. I highly recommend you to go there.

With the rain threatening we choose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. The decoration is rather strange (posters from Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings movies) but both the service and food was very good.My husband choose the sausage and asked for it to be served with potato salad instead of fries, while I had a local dish of scrambled eggs with North Sea shrimp. We ended up eating here on five consecutive nights and stopped for a drink every day we were in Lubeck. I presume that the owners have an interest in the schoolboy magician although there are just as many pictorial references to Tolkiens masterpiece inside. This is a deservedly popular riverside restaurant and on summer evenings tables can be hard to find. We can recommend the rib eye steak, well done, but other meals are available. The staff are so friendly even when the place is full to bursting. As the title implies don't walk past if you are hungry or thirsty.

First the positive things, the location is great with the river and the old salt warehouses which gives you a nice view while eating if you sit outside (which strongly is recommended). The menu is a little limited but fine, a couple of dishes for everybody's taste (fish, meat, vegetarian etc). The food is ok, well prepared, but our feeling was that it's more prepared and served on routine than with a feeling to try to do something extra. Nothing really to complain about, the taste is somehow there, but it could be better.Service is ok, we were told already when order that it would take a while before we get the food, the waiting time was ok after that. We had lunch at Potters during a recent visit to Luebeck. We sat outside, which was nice, but aside from the view, Potters had nothing to offer during our visit. The service was particularly bad. We were seated and given a menu, but it was not for another 15 minutes that we actually saw our waitress. The food is basic German, with a few twists. The ladies next to us had ordered the beef special, which looked good. We were going to order this whenever our waitress arrived, but on her way to our table she was stopped by the two ladies, one of whom sent her meal back.
