"Disappointing experience, a place we wanted to try due to the reviews being so positive. We chose the bottomless brunch and sat in the courtyard. The food was ok but my muffin was rock hard underneath the egg. The head waiter wasn’t particularly helpful and and the younger waiter I found to be a little rude. We were told to wave when ever we wanted a drink but were left outside and forgotten about. There was nobody outside as both waiters stood around and didn’t think to check. The only reason we managed to get any drinks was because the fridge and freezers etc were outside so had to ask repeatedly to have the heater on and for drinks. So not a place either of us would go to or recommend."

"I pre-ordered a Christmas Afternoon Tea through Facebook, and I can't recommend this service highly enough. The communication during my inquiry was excellent, the delivery was made right to my door, and the Afternoon Tea itself was absolutely delicious. There was a wonderful selection of savory treats, a great variety of sandwiches, and the cakes and scones were incredibly tasty. "Booked a table at 2pm online, where we were told they needed the table back at 4pm. We arrived literally a couple of minutes late due to traffic and we were greeted by a rude member of staff who told us the kitchen had closed! When I asked why they have a table available for a booking at 2pm if the kitchen is closes at the same time, the same member of staff said “we were late” and basically kicked us out. Garbage customer service and booking policy. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get any!"

"I recently dined here with a group of my golfing friends to celebrate our ‘end of tour’. As this year’s winner I got to choose where we went for our meal and I chose here. This was based on a meal my wife and I had had a week or so earlier where we really enjoyed the food. I was a little nervous as it’s not the biggest of restaurants and there were 13 of us. However I needn’t have worried as everything went smoothly from being warmly greeted when we arrived to paying the, very reasonable, bill at the end. The restaurant is clean and bright, the service good and courteous and the food lovely. Portion size is about right and the food served piping hot on pre-heated plates. Everyone afterwards said how much they’d enjoyed what they had. I’ll definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu and wouldn’t be surprised if next years ‘end of tour’ celebration was here too.
