"This is one of the best locations on the Lake of Neuchatel for any occasion with friends, colleagues and family members. The setting is lovely, right on the shores of Lake Neuchatel, on a large outdoor terrace that invites and raises expectations of great food, great service in great surrounds. Unfortunately, expectations are far from met.The food is mediocre to good, nothing terrible but you are left with the sense that no great effort was undertaken in making your dish, its adequate - and that was good enough for the chef/restaurant owner. Jamie Oliver or Gordan Ramsay class food this is not. Which is one of the key reasons why there are so many negative comments here.Additionally there only seemed to be 1 qualified person able to wait tables, take orders, deliver food, bring drinks, collect dishes and accept payment. 1 person for approx. 40 people during 2 hours. Terrible service.When asked whether or not a certain dish could accomodate the needs/wishes of one of my visiting Asian colleagues, the answer was "it comes as it is, he himself can take off whatever vegetables/meat he doesnt wish to eat" not in a rude way, but in a "matter-of-fact" way. Sadly a standard "take-it-or-leave-it" approach in the German-speaking part now rears its head in the French speaking part. On a lighter note, prices are better than expected. Expectto pay CHF28 for a Burger dish, CHF18 for a Caesar salad and CHF40 for roast lamb.Overall, if you ignore the bad service and attitude, this would be a great place to recommend to friends, romantic couples and colleagues.Tip: highly recommend this as an after work drinks & catch up location, however wouldn't recommend anyone go out of their way to visit it."

I liked the view facing the frozen lake. I ordered pan fried foie gras, not spectacular. My main dish was steak, nothing special.

Oh my god never again the food was so horrible. We had a hamburger and the meat was raw. And the workers there just speak french. Never going there again in my life !!!

What a lovely place to have dinner with a beautiful view of the lake... the service was great as was food... especially liked the grilled shrimp... the Neufchâtel Pinot Gris was the best we had during our weeklong visit

We were able to get a table despite last minute reservation and were really very well served. Nice restaurant with view on the lake and fireplace in the centre of the "round" side room. Very good food and rapide service despite it was full.

An enchanted setting on the lake of Neufchatel (I would suggest going there for lunch), big terrace or inside when it's cold, it's gorgeous. We four had a rest party, four different varieties. It was abundant, delicious and served quickly. A feast.

we had a company Christmas event there and it was sooo cool. apero was beautiful with homemade fleees and flames. then we had foie grass. Finally, the meat was so good, tender and with many mushrooms in the sauce, served with a little sweet. and homemade gnocchi.

We had a family celebration with a group of 30. The place is very popular and frequented by many people however it was a preparation and service of high quality. Friendly and dedicated staff always with a smile even a little joke. Excellent cooking, great quality. It has its price but its worth it. When passing by before, just for coffee or for lunch it was equally good. Highly recommended when in the area for vacation or even just passing by on business

The perch filets, ubiquitous in the region, are savory and slathered in a buttery sauce. The pork belly--a daily special--was absolutely scrumptious, but at 42 francs a bit steep for lunch fare...the röstis were far more modestly priced, and available in a dozen varieties as well. Be sure to feed the collective parking meter and place your ticket inside the windshield--parking enforcement seems quite efficient along the lakeshore!
