"Meine Schweizer Freunde (Ehemann, Ehefrau und kleine 4 jährige Tochter) wählten dieses Restaurant. Obwohl es ein kalter, schneereicher Wintertag war, wurden wir von dem Moment an, als wir in die Herzlichkeit und echte Gastfreundschaft dieses Restaurants eingingen, das mitten im Nirgendwo liegt, in eine Nirvana Welt verwandelt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Wir begannen mit einer köstlichen Kressesuppe mit Jakobsmuscheln, gefolgt von Langustinen mit Wildreis. Bei Desserts hatte jeder seine eigene Wahl, aber alle waren großartig. Wein, Bier, Kaffee und Tee wurden von allen getrunken (mit Ausnahme des kleinen Mannes, der mit einer Cola zufrieden war).Der Chefkoch Jean Yves Andre hat einen Michelin Stern erhalten, der für einen Platz mitten im Nirgendwo alles sagt: Gut gemacht, Jean Yves Sie haben es durchaus verdient.Die Rechnung war nicht billig Schweizer Franken 436. 80 (ca. 440 US Dollar), es sollte jedoch erwähnt werden, dass wir zwei Sätze mit kostenlosen Speisen hatten eines vor den Vorspeisen und eines zwischen den Vorspeisen und dem Hauptgericht: kostenlos eingeworfen.Preislich nicht für schwache Nerven, aber wenn Sie sich an ein kulinarisches und stimmungsvolles Erlebnis erinnern möchten, dann habe ich absolut keine Beschwerden über das Austeilen des Geldes !"

"We had a very disappointing meal, the fillet steak was a joke. I requested it to be cooked “blue” and it arrived medium. It arrived as 2 pieces from the the cheapest end of the fillet. I sent it back and when the second steak arrived it was medium rare and again in 2 pieces. We also had a problem with the Valpolicella which was advertised as 2018 and when it arrived it was 2021. The wine itself was fine but they still charged us CH70. Avoid this restaurant!"

"We were just looking to taste Indian food around Bex during our recent visit to Interlakenwe were of 10 people but were very warmly welcomed and accommodated as per our preference.. the food quality and quantity served was awesome.. they took extra step to quickly prepare Indian rasam (Tomato Soup with Pepper) on request by my father which was out of menu.. surprise they did not charge us for the soup. Felt like home .. also they suggested us near by places of attraction.. highly recommend if you are craving for Indian food. Kid-friendliness: They customise the spice level as per our preference."

"The Brasserie des Cerniers is a magnificent place, tastefully renovated. On the other hand, the kitchen is by far not up to the standard. We were a group of 7 at lunchtime, and we were looking forward to eating simple but tasty dishes after a walk. The forest crusts are a disaster, thick and dry bread, sprinkled with cheese and a few mushrooms, dry, no sauce. A few grams of cheese and mushrooms, and a salad served directly on the serving platter, that's very little for a lot of money. The fondue was served, with pieces of cheese not melted: we had to return it to the kitchen to finish its preparation, without any apology. Too bad the cook is so incompetent We won't be asked to eat there again"

"We were a little underwhelmed to hear that this hotel had a buffet restaurant instead of a la carte, but in fact, the buffets were great. The main course in any case isn't really a buffet, they cook the meat for you. This was hunting season and I was hesitating between roe deer, wild boar, pheasant, hare and deer. She suggested I have a small piece of each, which was a great idea! All meats were premium quality (tasty, tender) and perfectly cooked. The sides were also very nice. The starters and cheese buffet were also very nice, and so was the dessert buffet. In the end, as much as we enjoy fine dining, this was actually a very nice and better experience. The room was cosy too. And the price was actually very reasonable."
