You can eat very well in an excellent atmosphere. Ideal for two or a larger group. Just drop by and see for yourself. Gute vielfältige Küche. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und stets freundlich. Kleinigkeiten, wie den Aschenbecher wechseln oder zwischendurch nach dem Wohlbefinden zu fragen ist im Löwen an der Tagesordnung. Das Essen ist immer ein Genuss und die Getränkekarte lädt zum verweilen ein.Ein super Restaurant für jeden Anlass! Ver carta

Bedienung nicht sehr aufmerksam Essen war OK, trotz Nachfrage ob Fleisch darin, was verneint wurde, hatte es dennoch Fleisch Geteilte Rechnungen bei 4 Pers.; funktionierte nur schlecht als recht für 5dl Hahnenwasser musste Fr. 6. bezahlt werden!!!! (Wucher!!! Ich bezahle gerne etwas für Hahnenwasser, aber Fr. 6. ist unverschämt!

Das Essen ist nichts besonderes, bei dem nächsten schnellimbiss ist es gleich gut jedoch einiges billiger, das Preis leistungs verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht! Die Bedienung war die reinste Katasrophe, sie konnte sich nicht einmal die Getränke merken. Auuserdem nie nachgefragt! Das Gasthof Löwen ist für mich das schlechteste Restaurant, das ich je besuchen durfte. Das tönt jetzt etwas hart, aber ich stehe dazu. Wir haben reserviert, es hatte relativ wenig Leite und wir mussten über 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten. Nicht einmal Brot wurde uns angeboten. Eine Entschuldigung kam nicht. Kaffe gratis? Nein.Wenn man uns zumindest gesagt hätte, dass es Probleme gibt und man sich entschuldigt wäre es ja noch akzeptabel. Aber so ... das geht einfach nicht.

The service wasn't the friendliest, didn't understand Swiss German, and made a caipirinha instead of a Moscow mule! They promptly added ginger ale without explaining the mistake or apologizing. The few people they might attract to the fumoir doesn't make up for all the people put off from going there because the whole place smells of smoke, as we did too by the time we left. The chef also doesn't know how to make Zürchergeschnetzeltes, which is a big No-No in Zürich! We won't be returning.

A nice friendly Swiss restaurant with a beautiful terrace. The service was polite and quick, and the staff also understood English, which was a bonus. The food was well prepared and tasty. We ordered a salad, wings, a burger and a schnitzel and the prices of these items were in the normal Swiss range. I would have wanted the burger patty to be more fresh and hand pressed instead of these overly dense pre-salted patties, but you rarely get anything better in Swiss restaurants. I also wish they would add a hot sauce for the wings, but the Swiss rarely like anything spicy. Oh, and restaurants should really use fresh vegetables in all their dishes, especially in the summer!
