Restaurant Opelvillen

We spent a very nice evening with friends at this Italian restaurant in the Opelvillen. Promised nice service and an appealing dinner made this evening a successful one.

We've been there a few times. The food was always great and delicious. The beautiful terrace invites you to enjoy the view of the Main and possibly the sunset. The services were always very friendly, patient and helpful. We like to go there!

Really great! I rarely forgive 5 stars because you still have potential for improvements! Everything was right here: Nice atmosphere, good wine advice and delicious food! And an absolutely friendly service! We had a very entertaining, beautiful evening with friends!

The terrace goes to the main and west. Sun to the end. Actually, noble Italian, but still gives pizza. Super price-performance corruption. Shrimp risotto of the finest. At Ostwind, the landing planes pass directly over the terrace. The price must be paid near the airport.

The dishes are excellent! But on the phone. Reservation I asked for a very nice table with reference to the wedding day. He was obviously ignored even though it was there. In addition, I felt that my request for the exchange of supplements at Saltimbocca instead of rosemary spaghetti, rather Tagliatelle would have been possible only as spaghetti (e.g.) but with a supplement of €6 (i.e. €6). That killed me and I forgot.

On a Wednesday evening relatively alone, but very pleasant atmosphere. Appetizer was ok-relative tasty bruschetta, ham tomatoes (washy) and mozarrelka (average). The most important foods were top (Dorade, Linguine, Fish Plate). At the payment we annoyed: Payment by credit card is not possible. But since I didn't have enough money and no German EC card was suddenly offered to pay with credit card. Then I was told that this was too expensive for the restaurant. Here I really don't feel taken seriously as a customer and I won't come anymore.

It was given very full day due to various Christmas celebrations. The appetizer plate with good Vitello Tonato, supermarket ham and salami, Coltem Mozzarella. Main dish sepia(very company with vongole(part not found and pasta nera, probably still in the micro, because it was slightly dried, came after 45 minutes to forget bread. Small selection of moderate, open Italian wines. Service strives and beautiful, but overwhelmed. Pay for the terrible German habit separately (at 16 people!! as well as 16 different dishes, which then have to be on the table at the same time. In France one would be guillotined for such a short time, or no gastronomy would be allowed. This must lead to quality losses....

We've been back to the lunch table in the Opel villas for some time. The recommendation of friends as well as the dissatisfaction with fluctuating kitchens of local competition led to this decision. And we wouldn't be disappointed! This starts with the restaurant, its location and architecture and stops with more than fair pricing. The small card for lunch has something for everyone, the waiters are friendly and carefree. The food, I chose the menu with a clear minestrone, dorade felt fried on the skin, rosemary spices, Mediterranean vegetables and tiramisu for not even 16€, my wife had pasta, was very good and the portions sufficient.
