Nice fresh food and very good wines. Service is very good and the decoration is nice and comfy. The vegan choice is also good.

Very good choice to go there ; very friendly service and the food was delicious. Only it is a very big room , so it is not so cosy but that is to say something negative.

Innovative appetizersand main dishes , great service and nice atmosphere. Turkish Couisine fresh and modern interpreted, specializes in fish. We really enjoyed our evening Ver carta

Excellent food without any doubt. Simply fresh and delicious. Staff are all friendly of course. The kitchen seemed to have a little trouble keeping up with pace although the restaurant was only half full. Other than, fantastic experience!

I don't have complains about this restaurant...the food was amazing, I had a grilled fish and it was delicious, wine and appetizers were really tasty, the restaurant is quite and relaxing and beautiful. It is a bit pricy, but worth it for a nice night...out as a couple or for business.

After a long day in the exhibition halls we took the team to dinner in this popular Turkish restaurant. only 2 miles or so from the measuring centre it was just a short taxi ride away. when we were 12 people, they still managed to accommodate us in the short term. we decided to order many different dishes from the menu for the starter and main course, so we could taste different foods and we were not disappointed. excellent meat and fish. good wine card and friendly, efficient staff. highly recommended! As we were 12 persons, they still managed...to accommodate us at short notice. We decided on ordering many different dishes from the menu for both starter and main course so we could try different foods and we were not disappointed. Excellent meats and fish. Good wine list and friendly efficient staff. Highly recommended!

Sunday lunch and I really wanted to like Tablo as a big fan of Turkish food but unfortunately it was a really average meal and very expensive for what was received. Mezze platter was not very good lots of oily vegetables or deep fried...items that were not very tasty. Kebab was just ok but a bit boring sitting on a bed of eggplant with rice and a rather bland sauce. This along with 2 glasses of wine for 65 EURO was a very expensive meal. Only postive was the service which was attentive and friendly. I cannot really recommend it and would not visit again.

We were in Essen for less than 24 hours, traveling from Koln to attend an opera, Il Trovatore, with the role of Manrico being sung by the husband of a good friend of ours. Tablo is just a few blocks from the opera house and...the folks at the Sheraton, a few blocks in the opposite direction recommended Tablo when we inquired. So they met us at the hotel and we strolled down Huyssenallee for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately and ordered drinks. We perused the menu and ordered. The food was excellent. We shared starters, both hot and cold. Small portions, somewhat disappointing, but excellent, but in many situations, I find that I could make a complete meal of starters so I guess... Ver carta
