Went for a meal for a family occasion. Food was great especially carvery. All the staff were lovely and friendly especially our waiter Harley and the guy serving the carvery. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Large pub. It was our first visit to this place, and we were short on time that day. We went in and had a fantastic carvery. The staff was very attentive and extremely friendly, and the carvery was excellent—one of the best I've ever had.

Called home from York. Food and service very well. Young girl on the floor and entrance very polite and professional. Ordered the gluten-free chicken and bacon salad with a lateral order of the potato jacket and the Hunters chicken with chips from the main menu. The food was very nice. Will go back definately. As for the food, we enjoyed all three types of meat, along with some delicious pigs in blankets. The broccoli and carrots were fresh and perfectly cooked—not too soft or too hard—and the mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy. The toasties were crispy and satisfying. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. Great job, much better than Toby's!

I dive regularly into this pub to wind up and have a freky beer after a day of grafting at work! Always come to a warm welcome and introduction at the entrance as you would expect! Great atmosphere, pleasant professional staff that meets every need! I visited this evening and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The meal was fantastic, and the staff were excellent. The website had an impressive range of options, including all-day breakfasts, carvery, and a great selection of dishes on the menu. The prices were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise when I received my bill. They also offered a wonderful variety of ales and lagers. The staff were attentive and professional. I can't find anything to criticize about this place. It's a real pity I didn't come here yesterday instead of the disappointing meal I had at the hotel up the road. Ver carta
