"Rosa Lisbert, what kind of name is that? If I told you it is a jumble, and you have to unscramble the letters to form two common first names, would it help? In this cavernous market hall Lisa and Robert have opened one of the more exciting venues in the last two years. Their cooking is french, and their specialty is the tarte flambee, cooked over the heat of a wood-fueled stove when the flames are still burning. I maintain that there is no other tarte flambee in all of Berlin, what the heck, in all of Germany, that can hold a candle to their product. First of all there is the oven with a beech wood fire. Then the dough, which produces the lightest, tastiest tarte possible. And finally the toppings, which run from traditional bacon and onions on to much more exotic ingredients such as crayfish and foie gras (19.70 Euros and 14.50 Euros for the last two.) One tarte flambee is enough to fill you up, a pity, since there are more things on the menu. The extensive wine list is full of excellent entries. We had the pinot gris and chardonnay from Joachimshof (0.1 liter for 4.50 and 5.00 Euros). A half liter bottle of sparkling water cost 3.50 Euros. It was delicious and we are itching to go back again soon."

Very cosy place and atmosphere. A lot of restaurants to choose from. Very nice food, ate flammkuche with some wine (had a wine menu), a sort of french pizza. Something different yet Tasty.

One of the most delicious and near French cuisine authenticity that I have had the pleasure to enjoy outside of France in many years. Worth a stop over, and then true hedonism. All the fingers on both my hands have become thumbs: So 10 thumbs up!

I had quite some expectations when I heard they had the best Flammkuchen/tarte flambée in Berlin. I spent three years of my life in Strasbourg and tasted so many of them. I visited Rosa Lisbert and had to discover that their expertise in making tarte flambée is beyond all my expectations. You have to ask them how they prepare them, I won't tell you here ;-) But there is a whole story about it, of course. As there is for the entire concept which is so well thought thru. Their wine menu, other dishes and desserts. Everything is prepared just to stun their clientèle. Just go there and find out yourself.

No preconceptions about Arminiusstrmarkthalle so had no idea we would find such a gem. Never come across an only Flammkuchen restaurant such as Rosa Liberty. What a delight!. As you'd expect the classics were offered as well as some very creative options. We ordered pork belly with aromatic sauerkraut flammkuchen and a blue cheese, walnut and feldsalat flammkuchen. A delicious feast of quality ingredients beautifully prepared with the ongoing theatre of watching the chef expertly manage the two wood fired ovens to get the lightest, crisp bases These were easily divided with our own flammkuchen roller cutter enabling easy sharing.
