"The server was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, some of the items we wanted to order were not available. So, two of us ended up ordering fish and chips. The fish was difficult to eat due to the thick, greasy batter coating it. My plate was also covered in grease, making it a very disappointing meal. The chips were decent, and although the service was slow, the staff was very helpful. The interior of the pub was nice, but overall, I would not return to this restaurant."

Husband's rib eye steak very good, but rather expensive. My lasagne sauce was far too thin and far too much tomato in it...no thick cheese sauce that I could find. Mrs mjg

Lovely pub with great food at a reasonable price. Wonderful sirloin steak cooked perfectly. Really helpful young waitress. Nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Nice welcome, been before so knew ambience excellent. Food VERY good, good prices. Love the privacy of establishment a layout. Non invasive, courteous waiting staff. Definitely back again soon. Mr and mrs MJG

As always, a pleasant welcome. Impressed by several checks with my accompanying friend on dietary restrictions. Very pleasant staff. Ash has always been very helpful and has a good manner. Friendly without being familiar.

it was our first visit in this restaurant and will not be our own. there was a wide menu choice. eating was very good, tasty and good portions. the waiting staff was excellent, friendly and efficient. I would recommend it to friends.

Lovely country pub with big conservatory and very nicely decorated interior. Easy set up for covid. Good range of beers. And the food was huge and restaurant quality. Service was excellent. Ash was our waiter. Really lovely guy. Very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Ver carta

I booked to meet a friend at a point midway between us, having read some reviews by other diners. Food was good service efficient and friendly and cost reasonable I also liked that they did not automatically include service although of course we added it) such a pleasant change.

This was my first visit since the recent renovation and although I didn't notice any major changes in the design, it felt fresher and more beautiful. The staff was excellent and we couldn't fault how we were treated. We will definitely add Rose and Krone to our list of favorite places to dine.
