"I ate with a friend today. In the “Gaststätte am Sommerbad” I didn’t think it was a high-class restaurant. I was glad that I was convinced because we experienced very friendly hospitality there. The menu was manageable, not filled with 0815 dishes, but the dishes were all very appealing. I have chosen the redfish fillet in peanut crust with sweet chilli sauce with sweet potatoes, on leaf salad with walnut balsamico dressing and as dessert pear Helene with chocolate ice cream. I would like to have a herbal bath for the sweet potatoes and a little less salt on the fish. Overall, I was very happy. My friend had eaten beef goulash with dumplings and red cabbage and a Swedish cup for dessert. Around us there were many photos from the 1950s that told us about the emergence of the summer bath. Food was average. Service did not listen properly and therefore did not place the complete order. There was another group on site. A beautiful place to go, especially in summer, the place benefits from the large glass windows to the back. The decor is still a bit 90s, but has its charm and does not feel obsolete. The boss and the server were really well known. The food is German traditional, but always with a twist to stand out from the crowd. Can it also recommend for large groups, we organized a class meeting there once.
