Man fühlt sich zurückversetzt in eine längst vergangene Zeit. Speisen und Getränke munden sehr gut.allein das Interieur läßt einen immer wieder herkommen.

An atmospheric building with winding stairs and exposed beams. Oozing charm. Wonderful beer and even better food. Great for small or large groups alike. Good service. An excellent place to sample superb German food.

Waren zu einem Geburtstag da und wurden bestens bedient und auch das Essen war bei allen gut. Leider haben wir erst beim Nachtisch die Idee gehabt das Essen zu fotografieren. Danke nochmal an die Bedienungen und den Koch für den schönen Abend! Ver carta

Excellent meals, reasonably priced....Swabian specialities, good beer and healthy portions....what more could you ask for? We walked up from the Holiday Inn so didn't have to worry about looking for parking...well worth visiting and enjoying the gemutlichkeit!

The location is really beautiful, in an old Fachwerkhaus (the typical wooden German houses). Unfortunately, the food was not as good as expected, with poor tasting (all had the same taste.. Also, one weitress only made the service dramatically slow, even if she tried to...do her best.

In the heart of Echterdingen off the main road. Great staff and English menu if you need it. Traditional German food. Very limited but enough choices on the menu. went for an evening meal while staying at the hotel around the corner ( Hotel Adler ) midweek, it was full at 8.00 pm with groups, families and couples. We chose the pork fillet topped with bacon and ham and turkey breast, both came with shared vegetables and sauteed potatoes all washed down with a large german draught beer

This place was indicated by people from hotel, and it was a great surprise. Fantastic food, I tried days for dinner and food was very very good, and very well served, enough for hugry people. From outside looks very calm, but inside usually is...full of local people, for HH, family dinner and friends together. Really recommend

Our friends had arrived from the US just hours before dinner. This restaurant was recommended by another restauranteur in the community and did not disappoint! (Reservations are highly recommended This is exactly the first impression you want guests to have! We were immediately welcomed into...this small, historic space by multiple employees. Our traditional German meals were deliciously satisfying. Of course the slow pace allowed us to enjoy our conversation, a few beverages, and a lot of laughs. Enjoy! Ver carta
