"First visit based on good recommendations. Lovely air conditioned premises friendly staff. Sadly, We were very disappointed with the food. Sheekh kebabs were good portion but very spicy n “mint” sauce was very thick intense flavour of maybe coriander. Main meals ordered a keralan mango coconut delicately spiced prawn curry but, meal that arrived was green and had a pungent intense flavour no hint of delicate coconut or mango. The butter chicken was more like a spicy tikka masala. We left wondering if we’d been served someone else’s meals as food just didn’t match up with menu description of the dishes we ordered. Was very expensive. Unlikely to return. And, jug of water was room temperature should definitely be well chilled with ice in it in this hot weather."

"We spent £100 per room for our stay at this restaurant. Upon arrival, there was no staff to be found anywhere. We tried calling the number provided, but it was rejected three times. Even after texting, nobody showed up. We left and returned hours later, only to be shown to a very basic room. The bathroom was in poor condition with yellow stains around the taps, plug hole, and shower screen. The pillows were uncomfortable and gave us all headaches in the morning. The hotel was noisy both inside and outside. The food was overpriced, with fish and chips costing £13 and giving me a stomachache due to greasiness. We definitely would not choose to stay here again, even if it were free."

"The ambiance was excellent, with a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and attentive. The mozzarella and tomato starter exceeded my expectations, and the spicy nduja pasta was flavorful without being overwhelmingly hot. The ice cream was outstanding as well. I had a wonderful evening, from the warm welcome to the pleasant stroll along the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience."

"Afternoon tea and overnight stay were a lovely treat for my birthday. Afternoon tea was nice but very beige in colour. The scone were the standout of the offer, very nice indeed. The experience was slightly tempered by the condescending nature of the female restaurant host when ordering hot beverages. Lovely odern looking restaurant with views of the carden and saa except for the rather old and sticky table we were sat at. We were going to stay for dinner too but on reading the menu we decided to go elsewhere due to the price point of the menu which seemed over priced when having to pay separately for side dishes to complete the dish. Dessert at £10 for a fruit crumble tart was again very expensive in my opinion. Our room however was very comfortable especially the bed. The TV however did not work. £11.50 for a 1 glass bottle of prosecco from the mini bar and £2.30 for a soft drink again is excessive in the extreme. All in all a very nice experience but hotels in general let themselves down with the charges for the extras...considering there is overhead charges for some of these it leaves a slightly disapointing impression of the stay."

"A very welcome, unplanned visit one autumn afternoon whilst making our way or a walk around Cosmeston County Park: this excellent restaurant is a perfect venue for the short trip to or from the park. We booked a table online which was straightforward. Plenty of parking space. The interior is really tasteful and cosy, with the tables being well spaced. The service throughout was excellent. The lunchtime menu was wide ranging, great value, and most importantly absolutely delicious. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be going back!"
