Lovely shop and cafe/Restaurant. 9am on a walking trip. Truly perfect breakfast roll coffee in high quality surroundings and excellent, friendly table service

Popped in for brunch as missed a ferry to Rothesay.Ordered food and pot of tea.Tea served quickly but food took 35 mins to arrive.Tea then cold and had to bolt food so I didn’t miss next ferry! Food was good just very slow service which was disapponting

Very convenient location across the street from the train station. The waiter was immediately attentive and showed us to a table. Great menu offering and we both had the toasted halloumi and pesto sandwich with lentil soup. The soup was delicious, as was the sandwich. Top marks. Great service and highly recommend.

This charming restaurant is located opposite Wemyss Bay train station and ferry stop. The staff are welcoming and the food is delicious, especially their baked goods. They also have a fantastic butcher, grocer, and wine shop connected to the restaurant, making it a convenient stop for anyone visiting the Wemyss Bay area.

As ever, the service and quality of food could not be faulted, very nice indeed. My only (repeated) concern is the tea. I have commented in the past that a a good strong quality pot of tea would sit better with your excellent fare, as the tea bags on offer lets you down. I trust that you may take this recommendation on board in the positive and constructive manner that I intended.

Breakfast at McCaskies cafe in Wemyss Bay . Lovely breakfast in small cafe ,lovely views of ferry terminal and water front Nice quality ingredients from butchers shop which is adjoining Friendly service ,fair price for breakfast given quality of ingredients Handy for Ferry terminal and near by caravan park where we were staying I would highly recommend cafe as good a breakfast as I have had if I was local would be a regular breakfast venue

My experience at McCaskies cafe for a late breakfast was fantastic. When we saw the specials board, we had a hard time deciding because everything sounded so delicious. The food was freshly made, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. The modern decor with a rural touch created a bright and clean atmosphere. Next door, there is a Butchers shop that offers Scottish reared meats, tasty pies, and other products. They also have a great selection of wines to pair with your meal. Overall, the service was friendly and informative.

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago, and I apologize for the delayed review! It was fantastic! The location is convenient, right across from the ferry terminal. Although parking was busy due to the holiday weekend, we found a pay-and-display lot near the Suzuki garage. The lunch we had was excellent! My wife ordered the chicken pakora wrap, which was generously sized and just the right amount of spicy. I tried the spicy chicken fillet burger, and it was delicious! My wife enjoyed a pink gin and lemonade, while I opted for an Americano coffee as I was the designated driver. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was top-notch. Very disappointed by the waiter. On arrival at 3.15pm we waited to be seated, waiter shouted over to us were we in for food or a drink, we confirmed we were just in for coffee, to which he replied Do you know we shut at 4pm? . We took our seat and waited to be served, after 2 tables that arrived after us, getting served before us, I asked said waiter if we could order to which he replied I forgot you were even there . After that he apologised every time he came near the table, but in the most insincere manner.
