"I really like hummus, baba ganoush and falafel. And they cook it really authentic! We tried menu for 4 persons (16euro pp) and it was so good: 4-5 plates with appetizers (hummus, baba ganoush and other), also a big plate with vegetable salad, then rice with almonds and chicken and plate of different kebabs. It was alot of nicely cooked and very tasty food.I love this place. It has a cozy atmosphere. And people working this place are very friendly and hospitable. They make you feel like at home.Hope to visit it again soon."

Ambiance is good, service is good and we enjoyed nice vegetarian FALAFAL here. we had a nice dining experience with good selection of veg and non-veg food along with a Lebanese coffee.

the personal is completely aware of eating vegans! there are some vegan meals mentioned in the menu, but they will find quite more that are announced as vegetarian! unfortunately the hummus (my fave) was very upset. they have put a lot of lemon on each court. I tried to dress the large vegan plate with a mixture of all vegans. the aubergine was a little fat. the baked was filled with spinach. it wasn't so good seasoned. finally, eating was nice. I'll give you an endured evening. but is not veeery special .

We ate at Sinbad twice whilst staying recently in Dresden. Just up the street from where we were staying. Being from Sydney we know our way around a Lebanese menu. And this one was good: simple and straightforward. The food was beautifully cooked and the service excellent. Good wine list too. On the first visit there was a floor show! Unexpected and strangely charming. The restaurant is not flash: no uber cool, no tourist palaver. Sinbad is an excellent local experience. Charming with good, inexpensive food.

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
