"Today visited this farm shop once again with my young grandson . The cafe section was as usual excellent with very friendly staff. However, that experience was not mirrored in the shop section . At the end of the visit as usual my wife decided to buy a few gifts for our grandson, in this instance Christmas baubles. At she went to pay at the counter one of the baubles slipped from her hand and broke into many pieces. An assistant kindly said ‘don’t worry it was an accident I’ll get you another one’. However, on paying she was overruled by another assistant who said ‘ so that will be three including the one you smashed !’ We would have paid anyway for the broken bauble but the attitude of the second assistant was incredible . Where are the signs for paying for broken articles ? I suggest you avoid this shop , particularly if you have young children as well."

This restaurant is excellent! The service is friendly and the food is delicious. We ordered a full English breakfast, avocado toast, and indulged in a tasty pastry from the bakery on the premises.

I was very disappointed with my breakfast experience at this restaurant. The food was mediocre and overpriced for what was served. The biggest issue for me was that it's advertised as a farm shop, but it's not actually located on a farm. I won't be returning.

Lovely coffee and almond croissant. Decided to come back after a long time away and I loved it. Busy but not too busy cafe, well spaced tables so you aren’t on top of other people. Brought my dog and he had space to lie on the floor next to me. Staff friendly and came over to take my order straightaway. The breakfasts looked very good quality. Will definitely come back.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch. When we arrived it was clearly very busy, but we were shown straight to our reserved table. Then we were ignored completely for more than 30 minutes. No waiter came anywhere near us. The table next to us who were ordering as we arrived hadn’t even received their starters 30 mins after ordering. We decided to leave. The staff didn’t even notice us going. We won’t be back!

Wonderful experience at the Smallford farm cafe. We were able to take our dog and the Waitress brough him some water before taking our order (we like he was put first). We had the pork cracking sandwich on sourdough. It was delicious. So good we would have it again! I had Prosecco and hubby had a strawberry and blueberry smoothie. Both delicious. We went home with a Biscoff slice! Everyone was friendly and service was quick. 10/10 experience.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and it will definitely be my last. The food was awful. The rolls for the egg mayonnaise and smoked salmon were stale and hard. I paid £16 for a chicken burger that only had three tough strips of chicken inside, which looked like deboned wings. When we complained to the rude waitress, she insisted that we were wrong. Additionally, a 10% discretionary charge was added to the bill without explanation or the option to remove it.

What an absolute gem! Took Mum for breakfast before shopping for her birthday. We all (4) had full English with tea. The cups were warmed, a pot of tea each loose leaf, brewed to preference. The breakfasts all came out together, poached eggs were perfectly runny, quality bacon sausages, mushroom and tomato. Sourdough toast, remained toasted as beans on the side are an amazing touch as they can run away and be the base of everything on the plate. The plates are a generous size, really showcasing the meal. What a great start to a busy day and a new found favourite eatery.

My friend and I found smallford farm shop on Google and decided to meet there for lunch one Saturday afternoon. We were not disappointed at all, there is a lovely shop upon arrival selling lots of lovely unique things, different gift ideas, food items etc. the restaurant area was full but the staff member was really helpful and friendly, we only had to wait under 10 minutes and a table was ready for us. The food was very good would highly recommend the chicken burger, and the coffee was lovely. We both really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. The car park can get busy but we both managed to find a space.

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."
