"After navigating our way through the crowds of Bourogh Market we wanted to find some place for Fish and Chips and a drink. We stumbled upon Southwark Tavern and we are SO glad we did!! Before we left home we had said that we wanted to have a drink in a British pub with stone walls. This is the PERFECT place! The basement was an old jail with several cells open for seating. The walls were all brick and EXACTLY what we were looking for and more! The service by the manager, Darren was AMAZING! I have a LOT of food allergies and he made SURE that I wouldn't have a problem. I can't wait to take other friends there as this was one of our top memories of London!!"

The food was amazing we loved the sunday roasts, the service of thalsi (my bad pronounciation) was great. We are from Portugal, She helped us with the language by using a translator and taught me how to use it. Now i'm using the translator to write this review lol
