"We had a mid week lunch at this Italian restaurant Recommended by our Italian friends living in Ollon. We had the most delicious mushroom risotto we’ve ever tasted. The prosciutto wrapped melon also delicious. We had an orange, fennel salad but sadly a huge bowl of lettuce and only a small amount of topping. The pesto beef pasta was tasty but very oily. The veal on lettuce (like cold Roast beef) was ok wouldn’t have it again. Service was slow too. G&T Tonic was flat."

"It was raining cats and dogs as we drove up to Les Posses from Bex in search of Chez Mantisi. The clouds hung low and the mountains remained invisible. The restaurant was perched high on a mountain top, and we were pleased to see a...large parking area. We walked through the door into the warm cheery welcome of a Bonjour! from the owner, as she led us to our table. For the rest of the evening we could hear her husband burst into loud song as he cooked in the kitchen. We were convinced a chef as happy as he was would present us with delicious food and we weren't wrong! We were celebrating a special occasion and although the stunning views played hide and seek with the clouds, we were happy to be snug and dry in the little restaurant cum hotel, all done up in dark wood and plush red furnishings. The menu was simple. I had a Gnocchi ai Gemelli from the list of the Chef's Recommendations and husband had Ravioles de Loup de Mer, Pesto rosso et Bisque de Homard. Unbelievably delicious. Portions were huge and I had to ask for a doggy bag to take home half the gnocchi. We shared a delectable, if unusual Tiramisu of generous proportions (it had kiwi fruit hiding in the bottom of the glass). DInner was of course washed down with a glass of vino rosso! The price was not the cheapest we have known, but the service was a delight and the evening memorable. As we braved the pouring rain to get back into the trusted chariot we decided we'd definitely be back on a day when the sky was bright blue instead of dark gray. My advice: worth making a special trip to this excellent restaurant"

"I'm 40 years old today and I discovered this steakhouse on this occasion. First of all, the service: smiling, efficient and friendly. Nothing to say except thank you and well done. Then the cuisine: the pan-fried foie gras as a starter with its passion fruit and coffee sauce is a pure delight. Then, the main course: the Meating, 250g of beef (for two people or more), with homemade butter and itou fries, a real treat. I finished my partner's portion at the risk of not being able to have dessert. What a mistake it had been! Their crème brûlée, served in a shallow but large plate, is worth a detour. In short, flawless as we would like to see more often."

"Comportement irrespectueux de la responsable auprès de la clientèle (personne âgée) ! Si vous n'acceptez pas les remarques des clients, restez dans votre cuisine ! Ce n'était pas le stress de cette soirée qui a provoqué cette attitude de sorcière, car la salle était remplie au 1/4. Sur 6 personnes à table, 4 déçues ! Posez-vous la question constructive, POURQUOI à la place de nous manquer de respect devant les autres clients ! Vous traitez auteurs des avis négatifs de cons, ce n'est pas professionnel ! "Bad evening, bad choice! The map was nevertheless engaging. Poor waitress who cried and sniffed while serving the dishes because of problems with the boss…. Tense atmosphere. Too expensive for the quality of the dishes. Gourmet coffee made only from industrial or even frozen products Too bad, the setting and decor are rather welcoming. I won't go back!"
