Squerryes Winery - Menú

The staff seemed disinterested and incompetent. The restaurant was brightly lit and noisy, with average food and decent drinks. The website is completely misleading - where is the set menu?

I booked on their website and received a confirmation message a few weeks ago. Got a call today to say they couldn’t understand how I’d managed to book as they wouldn’t be open. Now need to find an alternative venue. Second time they’ve cancelled on...me so won’t be trying again, I don’t trust them to honour the booking.

This was my third visit and each time I have been impressed with the food. Today the meal was ruined when a group arrived for a wine tasting this wouldn’t have been so bad except the restaurant then had to listen to the proceedings...being broadcast over a microphone. We left and certainly would think twice about returning.

so much heard by squerryes westerham was set a date and arrangements for a wonderful day. it was so beautiful, surrounded by colleagues and friends. we were from a charming young woman who felt so welcome. Unfortunately, the whole experience was of a very inconvenient 'young' called frazer addressing staff and the young women who showed us on our table, the most inappropriate entries. not to ask, but to order aggressive. I will not visit squerryes so shameful again.

I wanted to come here and wait for a nice evening with friends worth it. eating is stunning, especially accompanied by a glass squerryes foam wine and served by friendly and competent staff. the restaurant itself looks great. it is really a bottle shop and manages to be cozy even though it is quite a large space and classic and quirky all at once! the bar is beautiful. so much luck to have in westerham! sometimes they have really good discount deals on their website that is worth checking. we hope to be back soon.

I had an excellent experience at Squerryes! It's fantastic to visit a place so close to home (I am based in Sevenoaks) and enjoy seasonal dishes made with local ingredients. The menu offers classic dishes with a modern twist, such as their mushrooms in a Thai green curry sauce. I particularly enjoyed the cheeseboard for a perfect end to the meal, along with a tasting flight of sparkling wines. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and we felt a connection to the vineyard through the history of the wines. The Blanc de Blancs was a standout. I will definitely be returning soon!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and found it to be a bit disappointing. The positives included a fantastic view from the terrace on a sunny day, a nice and clean restaurant, and a reasonably varied menu with decent vegetarian options. Despite the delicious goat cheese and puff pastry tart and excellent wine selection, the service fell short. There were some instances of slow service, lack of attention to detail, and ill-at-ease staff members. Overall, while there was nothing terribly wrong with the restaurant or service, it felt somewhat clumsy. This seems to be a common experience post-pandemic restrictions, possibly due to understaffing and lack of thorough training.

Arrived early and seated straightaway as quiet evening and table free,drinks served quickly and food order taken. Starters arrived Sicilian pork and Salt and pepper squid ,tasted fine and fresh but lacking something,maybe a small salad or salsa to make it more visually appealing. Wife...tried a couple of wines and excellent and the price reflected this... Main courses Monk fish and Mussels excellent although again would have benefitted with the addition of a selection of vegetables with the Monk fish or even something like linguine and a few salad leafs as the salsa Verde and asparagus were chopped small and part of the sauce.My Mussels were in a lovely sauce and i requested a couple of piec...

Was sadly disappointed by this place, Squerryes of Westerham, its estate and winery conjures up history, elegance and quality. There is no I quality here, in fact its more of an industrial estate than a beautiful estate, the staff are badly trained and the front...of house manager is as absent as someone on strike. We saw a poor member of staff drop a full tray of food and drinks on customers, the manager looked and hey presto he was absent and off rather than assist the poor young chap and apologise to the guests for the drinks and food down them.
