"Not wanting to eat in the modern style hotel restaurant we were staying at we took the ten minute walk to search this one out after reading the previous TripAdvisor reviews and it did not disappoint. This is a pleasant traditional German restaurant with a bar section as you enter and then a dining room beyond the main bar. Not the biggest menu but enough options and the Vienna Stitzels we went for were very good. And combined with the usual choice of Bavarian beer styles available and decent service levels there was nothing not to like here and I would certainly consider to visit again if I find myself back in this part of town."

the delivery was more than satisfactory. the food was in order, unfortunately somewhat too weakly seasoned, but that is known to be a taste.

delivery on time, eat warm. eat in styrofoam packaging, flew in loveless and wild around it, probably during the wheel transport. tastefully ok, nothing extraordinary. Price/performance has not been matched today.

Good food, nice surroundings and well frequented by tourists making their way to the hotel mile after being in the city. Prices well in the target and all round exactly what you want for a hearty dinner and a few jars on your way home

we were very satisfied. delicious. the stengelhof has changed “new opening” and probably the operator, we are happy because we are going to eat now also before the place.Also, a lot of success and we are happy to eat delicious in the immediate afterbarsc.

Walked 30 minutes to this bar from our hotel and I’m glad we did. The barman greeted us with impeccable English and a warm welcome. The menu was limited but catered for all tastes. The food took a while to arrive but when it did it was well presented and tasted fantastic. The pork in mushroom sauce is highly recommended. The desert menu had only two choices. We ordered The Kaiserschmarrn for two and to would have (and did) feed four with some left. It was delicious. A meal for four with drinks came in at €100 which was reasonable.
