Cracking pub, very friendly staff and food all homemade is absolutely beautiful and to have the views are lovely too.

The steak and ale pie is amazing, good value, great portion size. Staff lovely and friendly. The quality of the food is excellent. Quality draft beers

There is always a first time for everything. Out for a drive and pulled up for a cuppa and a snack. Nice big car park, choice of inside and out side eating. Menu good,staff excellent , very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely call again.

they had gluten-free options yesterday. my family and I were very welcome and I had gluten-free fish and chips.. although there were other ways to choose from. it was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. we will return in the future definitiw. very recommended to visit here if they are near

Stayed overnight in our campervan, nice and quiet. The owner was very welcoming and told us he had plans to improve the pitches and add hookups. We had an evening meal, which was fantastic and took part in the pub quiz. The staff were really friendly and chatty. Very dog friendly. Definitely recommend. Great place. Thanks Ver carta

My husband and I are known as seasonal locals in this pub as we are always here for a few weeks at Eisteddfod time. We are always made to feel so welcome by the owners PJ Katie, the regulars, and the lovely staff always polite, helpful and friendly, thanks guys . And I agree with whoever mentioned the onion rings. the best I 've ever had!!

We stayed in our motorhome and found that there are no services available, so you need to be self-contained. It's free to stay as long as you patronize the pub. It's just 1.5 miles to Llangollen along the canal, which is a lovely walk. We spent two nights here and dined in the pub both evenings, and even enjoyed a couple of drinks in the afternoon. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent. The views from where we parked were fantastic. We will definitely be returning!

Happy to have found this pub! We stopped in our campers (self build friendly and booked into the over night stay. Greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and walked us in. Lovely views and clean tidy gated carpark. Must be self sufficient. Went for a meal and a couple drinks in the pub. I had the steak ale pie my partner had rib eye steak. Homemade chips and pie was amazing highly recommend this place. Had another meal the next day before we left. Service was great staff an owners are great. very friendly family run pub an dogs are very welcomed also.. have added some pictures of the pub, food and surrounding area.
