A really dog friendly pub, serving good food and with friendly efficient service. The whole team are to be commended. Will be back. The food was well presented, tasty and my main course was hot (which seems to be unusual these days in some restaurants). Our waitress, Lee, was fun but professional in her demeanour which made our lunch especially pleasurable Parking: Car park at the side, outside the entrance. Lovely food.let down by customer service.not very attentive.didnt ask if our mains were ok or if we needed any sauces etc. Served by a young miserable looking lady with ripped jeans_ didnt look the part. Had to ask for extra drinks and the bill when other customers were asked. I even had to go to bar go pay as once i had the bill i was ignored. Booked online but it failed in the process. Staff squeezed us in nevertheless. Food matched the price, not exciting but nice. Selected a craft beer but it was not available. Nice ambience pub. Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry from car park into the lower mezzanine dining area. Two disabled parking spaces close to the entrance, well lit part of the car park. Did not check toilet accessibility. Price per person: £20–30

We visited again after a bad experience on our last visit over 12 months ago and had a 30% off voucher for mains. So glad we did, food was lovely and the girls who were working doing table service were just lovely, polite, attentive and really friendly. We will definitely be back. Only one small thing and that is the front main door needs attention as it seems the soft close stay has broken which culminates in it banging very loudly every time someone enters or leaves the pub.....not ideal if you sit where we were in restaurant the other side of the entrance balustrade. Other than this...perfect. Parking: Lots on site

Booked the Swan in Fairfield for Sunday lunch only to be told by the young lady at the reception desk sorry no there's no booking to then show her we had a confirmation message on my colleagues phone,no apology just said it must of got bounced back so for this I can honestly say we won't ever be back!! Decided just to leave it and not ask to see a manager went down the dual carriageway to the Bell can just add where there was ample parking we hadn't booked so thought it would be a no so to be told yes thats no problem just take a seat in the bar area and order from the bar what you so easy and relaxed.I believe the swan needs to learn some lessons on customer service?,BTW we had a beautiful...
