Tacheles - Carta

To be honest, the place is pretty good, decent food and beers. In the middle of Freiburg. Staff was not really cool though.

tiny in bar, but great karaoke nights with a lot of American vocal along songs .has not tried to eat that, but the bartender is fast

they were wondering about Freiburg and stopped at this place for lunch, we ordered two tacheln and was served with a festive! we have salads, different kartoffels. Ver carta

We ate various carvings with supplement to lunch. Very delicious. Even if not cheap. You don't spend 10€ each day in the lunch break. Price performance fits. Service was also good.

This place is our main restaurant when it comes to tasty carvings. Also for larger groups we have always provided a good table. The services are very nice and the prices are fair. There is something everyone can choose for.

Neat place. Definitely a local hangout as college students were everywhere. The food was good. Big portions and good tastes. Extensive schnitzel menu and good beer options. Highly recommend for a casual night out or looking to eat a big meal before a night of...drinking! Ver carta

We stopped here for lunch randomly and were quite taken with the lively feel of the place. The friendly waitress told us there would be a wait for our order to arrive on this busy Saturday. The food was decent, huge portions, and for a...good price, but it really was a very long wait.

Located in the Altstadt and one level below ground in a charming cellar like setting, this restaurant is known for its schnitzel, serving it up in no less than 24 flavours! Liking my food spicy, I ordered the “Diablo” which came with a Paprika ...Chilli sauce. It was sufficiently spicy and made the schnitzel more appetizing for me. If you like schnitzel, this place is for you!

Went there during our trip to Freiburg waitress brought the wrong beer, and tried to argue we were wrong (we are both German native speakers so there was no language problem . Then when we ordered a schnitzel with potatoes rather than fries we...got the schnitzel with fries. When one of her colleagues corrected her about the beer, near our table we could hear her very loudly argue back. The food itself was ok. Nothing to write home about. Wouldn't go again, or recommend to anyone to go. And if you go there as a non German tourist, and get the wrong order it's probably not your fault ; Ver carta
